Faster equipment change without garage

Recommended Posts

I left out the paints for a reason, because loading [a single paint] is more data then loading [turrets+hulls+modules].

Alterations would be nice, but at the moment I've no idea how to do this in a useful way without an additional graphical interface.

Nice! Also, GG, you're no longer a rookie! May I has a hug?

As you know it take much time for the garage to load, then time to change, then 5 seconds for self destruct, then time to respawn.

As well us self destructing will ruin someone K/D in battle and give them a death for no true valid reason.

There should be a small pop up sign which can be opened by a specific key or a button on screen, which opens the garage and you can change right away. As well as having not to self destruct rather change equip like it does in the tutorial in the beginning.

This will benefit everyone in tanki and should be implemented in the game

Hope you consider

Thanks

So... it opens the garage. What makes you think that this version of the garage will not take as long to load compared to the normal garage?  <_>

That's not much of an issue, as at least all the 3D models of the turrets and hulls that are in this battle used by someone else, are already loaded (example: if the 3D mode of a Rico would not be loaded anyways, you would not see a Rico on your enemies tank, but just nothing. Or the game would crash. But it does work, so the models are loaded).

The only thing that should not be possible by that mechanism, is to switch paints and modules, because there are so many of them.

Completed

After this update, there is a key that opens the garage. There is no reason to have any kind of "small garage" since it won't really reduce the loading time, but having a keyboard shortcut allows you to quickly open the garage as soon as you die (so that you can change and spawn in right away, without the need to SD and respawn to apply the changes)
