Greetings fellow tankers! ^_^

As you all can tell, something is clearly odd with the "gold boxes caught" leaderboard on the Tanki Online Ratings, as the numbers of the top players on the list are unprecedented and incredibly high, off the charts! Here is an idea:
From what is listed in the ratings, just 1OOO alone gained this week (simple math) 4 038 000 crystals from gold boxes! :o
Even if these players did not buy their own gold boxes -- as the number of gold boxes they caught and the number of gold box supplies used on their rating profiles do not match -- do notice that 1 gold box supply costs around 1 USD: if those are gold boxes bought from the in-game store, that would be a ludicrous amount of money! :blink:

What I am questioning is:

Does anybody know or have an idea of what is going on?

Are all those gold boxes actually possible, or there might be some hacking behind them? :ph34r:

Maybe he is dropping them from his alt account in private 1 vs 1 battles.

He has just 401 xp this week, so obviously he is not playing regular battles.

I think that this game, like all online games, is based on the bonus you have to buy. There is no trick, you just have to buy the match. 

 

These events are one of the many ways to stimulate purchases

From what I have seen, even the biggest gold rains are in the few hundreds; which still are a great amount of gold boxes!

But here we are talking in the thousands... that, to me, seems pretty absurd!  :huh:

 

Also please I hope you realize just how many are those 50 000+ gold boxes in the leaderboard on the Ratings page, in terms of possible money spent on them and time it takes for them to drop...

There used to be matches played between tanki staff and normal players,Photoshoot,minehunt,lots of different and interesting events(and it all happened during semyon time.

idk if mods are watching this or not. but if somebody has it zero supply ready there should be a notification. it can be  green mark on the tank of a teammate. that would really help

It's most likely caused by the server issues of the last couple of days, the gold ratings have been fixed.

The gold boxes counter has been reset

If you look at 1OOO profile (not 1000) he has no golds caught from last week unlike a regular player, mine still shows golds caught before the reset

Crap! I really wish I had taken part in one of those: it does not seem Tanki Online has removed our crystals from the gold boxes we've caught earlier this week...  :(

Not sure probably on all servers I didn't see golds myself just a video someone recorded lol, I wonder if some people got to keep the golds

Tip to newer players

Tanki's Birthday is in a month, where there will probably be better sales. If you're not sure whether or not you can make enough crystals for that sale, just don't buy anything here and wait for then.

The ZERO supply is worth less than that. I was in a battle leading a defensive struggle, barely beating back a superior attacking force, and despite almost having them all dead, they came back to life, practically unkillable.

Thanks for nothing. All this does is (for the next few days) change the tactics from single action to group swarns, and further press the need to use supplies to counter it.

 

I guess getting people to use up supplies faster was the REAL reason for this inconvenient "innovation."

At least I know where the devs have been wasting their time instead of fixing problems...

Tanki, theres only about 200 people that encounter the gold box glitch. Since its a small amount of players, can you remove their glitched crystals as well as the purchases that was bought with it? Its really unfair for players who play everyday to save crystals while some only played like 3 hours and they got like 4 000 000 crystals? I know it can be done by you guys just like the last time with the daily gifts glitch.

All discussion about the update should be kept in the official update topic. You may think that creating a separate topic will mean that developers will be more likely to notice it and take action, but you're wrong. Developers rarely check the rest of the forum and news topics are the only place where they seriously pay attention to feedback and take it into account. Forum moderator's job is to keep this discussion in those news topic and prevent it from being diverged to other places on the forum which is why I redirected you in here as this place is the place where they will read player's posts, feedback, etc.  :)

Zero supply is an awesome feature which is so good that in non-pro battles even if you are not a drugger you can still somewhat fight back from druggers with it, it helps alot in battles. Please let this feature remain in game. This perfectly balances out the game play in Non pro battles and for God sake don't make this zero supply, a premium content. btw I m  still against mission update #RemoveDailyMissionUpdate
