I just found the notification in the in-game news. It is more precise, and it reads:

 


"Today, we're pushing Battlefunds up to 1.75x, so that's nearly twice as many crystals for every battle you complete (non-PRO battles only). That, combined with the double drop rate for Golds, means you'll be getting some pretty frequent Gold drops in your battle!"

 

So this reads to me, like option 2.

gold chance was doubled; funds were x1.75; so golds are like 2x1.75 = 3,5x as often per points scored as usual

Even so, you can see the difference

The holiday bundle, for 22 more euros, offers 65k more crystals, a few more drugs

and still has less premium days

I do not believe 22 euros correlates to 65k crystals

This is why it's a ripoff

However, it could be the case that the PayPal bundle is just a extraordinary good deal and this holiday bundle is a regular deal

I'll take your word for it. In US prices the loss of a few Premium days and half the supplies is balanced by the gold boxes and exclusive paint. That paint is pretty good looking. We can't know what it would be priced at in the garage but my guess based on looks would be that it's a six figure paint.

 

PayPal or other payment specific bundles are always a bit better - they have to be.

 

Again in US money - I'm looking at the next bundle - the $40USD one, which unlocks only after you buy the regular non-holiday $25 bundle. The $40 bundle only contains 140k crystals, but adds some gold boxes and plenty of supplies and Premium. But - 140k crystals feels like too little, regardless of what other goodies come in the bundle. Pass.

It's option 2 indeed. Gold drop rate is doubled in PRO battles also, while funds aren't.

No (holiday) missions in PRO battles.

 

Why buy a PRO pass then?

Only to avoid noob druggers?

 

Tanki is insulting the original PRO player, relying only on his skills and team-mates.

We should never give in to what tanki is trying to make us do lol, I'll never stop playing pro battles, as for missions, there is a ton of friends and other players who help each other finish them

 

If tanki *really*wanted us not to harvest supplies (which we pro players rarely use anyway) they would have developed a system to prevent that while keeping them doable in pro battles

 

For example, a 1v1 or 2v2 battle = the mission counter stops counting (flags, points captured, finish 1st...)

Supplies collected / finish 1st do not count if the battles is not at least 1/2 full

 

But it's really obvious that all they want is to get players to buy supplies kits with crystals or with money

 

Yet still my supplies still increasing, I can go to drug battles and easily wreck players who don't have supplies, but it's not fun to play like that, after all only psychopaths enjoy bullying and causing harm to people who did them nothing wrong B)

"something epic" probably means another round of drug buying incentives and more buffs for OP units to create higher drug usage.

 

There will be the usual smoke screen of a few small "gifts"  or price reductions to take everyone's minds off the mass shafting (no pun intended) of players on here by the management. A few sycophants will wax lyrical about the wondrous bounty placed before us which will allow the press gang to crow about how happy players are in the next propaganda vid.

 

No, I am not holding my breath in anticipation of anything good. The game is in its final death spiral. The best we can hope for is that the devs make one too many cock ups which results in tanki finally being put out of its misery.

And if it is a double fund ( today 1.75 ) I see that number of players has decreased, thanks to this update that " force " players to play supplies battles.

The common sense strategy to play this game now is to buy a PRO pass and play far more PRO battles than drug war non-PRO battles. Buying more garage drugs for crystals so you can carry on drugging at the same rate to compete with the whales is likely to limit your garage upgrading. On the other hand, buying a PRO pass gives excellent reward for your purchase, in both funds and enjoyment. In my opinion, non-PRO battle enjoyment isn't even close to how good no-supply battles are.

 

I do like this Zero-supply idea though, seems to (sometimes)help the guys that don't want to spend hard cash on online-game money-pit throwaway items like the supplies feature this game has. Yes, there is spawnkilling and drugger dominance in some battles, but I've also been in plenty of battles where mega-druggies have been getting owned cos they didn't work as a team. I played a TDM battle earlier today by using Isida and supporting a team of long ranger campers that were constantly under siege from a load of selfish druggers that weren't boosting each-other. I only used one DD drug, picked up a few drops, was Zero-Supply boosted several times and boosted others about 3 times in 12 mins of battle, we won that battle convincingly.

 

Admittedly, there's little hope of dealing with a team of druggers that are working well with each-other, but IMO, that's no different to the normal drug system this game has.

 

This game needs a system to auto-finish battles where one team is getting spawnkilled. Or preferably, use the zero-supply system to give the team that's getting spawnkilled one last chance to make a comeback/establish a defence in battles.

Also in Pro Non drug battles the battle fund grows much faster therefor more golds drop, so does experience points,

Probably even more than 2x battle fund non pro battles

 

If drugs were drop only (as they better be except for mines of course) or had a limit of how many one can use in a battle like max 10, then that combined with the maybe a slower counter for zero supply mode would offer a great tactical gameplay in drug battles, players would have to carefully choose when to use their supplies

Give me PRO battles anyday, but when tanki offers me over 6000 crystals for 250 kills I find that difficult to turn down. Missions are interfering with my enjoyment of the game.

I turned it down because I had only ~30 DD left.

I would never buy supplies with crystals, never pay these devs money for the drug kit, because ruined a good game with their unrequired for updates, and would never be dominated in drug battles.

 

So I would rather sit out and not do the 250 kill missions, than get 250 kills in 6 hours with 500 deaths, and acquire hatred towards the persistent druggers.

Not May Holidays anymore bcoz of 30% now. 50% Sale festivals are Tanki B'day 4th June, Tankers Day 28th September, & Christmas. I suspect they will reduce Halloween Sale from 50% to 30% 31st October this year just like May Holidays :unsure: Earlier, there was St.Patrick Day Sale, now they took out :angry:

Tanki need to apply this suggestion. Right now, go to RU2 & try to join Polygon CP non-PRO battles, players are busy pressing 1,2,3,4,5 and Shift buttons instead of playing a fair game -- simply competition of supplies who spend more than the other :o

Well, I enjoyed the game with this feature.

I think regular battles (non-pro) are much better with it. It also requires skillful use (skilled and smart players activating it when near teammates), and finally, the best, we (free-players who join those battle for the sake of missions) can fight almost any buyer, to a bit, I think the feature could balance regular battles between free and paying players.

 

Points:

 

  • You limited us with limit of battles - only 15 minutes battles without pro-pass
  • You limited us with the creation of battles - we need to pay up to 5K crystals to be able to create battles (pro-battles) and join pro-battles +/ in-game clan members can join pro-battles only (without pro-pass)
  • You limited us with missions - Do you realize for who are missions most helpful? - free players struggle to do missions since there are probably more paying players in non-pro battles than in pro-battles (I play both, so in my perspective)

Don't you think a feature similar to this could help the Balance? 1 update like this would be loved and also help fight against 3 points I mentioned also. I suggest to re-design it (after it disappears after the event) and bring it for the sake of fun and skill dependentation. Thanks for reading my opinion.
