valid Rent Spectator Mode for limited time for money

I have an idea about your problem, the prize of clan license is 36$ and it has quantity of 12 players, so each player have to donate 3$ which is equal to 12X3=36$. [you can use donor box for PayPal donation]

Similarly the same case with Spectator, it will not be so expensive like clan license may be in our range, its depend only on developers they can do what they want! :D

No, the spectator mode is not available permanently for those players, as the name of service is rent service. Moreover, to get it permanent same method of filling application form will go on as requirements.

I'm talking about rental spectator mode only. I know permanent spec requirements - Good Karma, 1k subs, good video content, etc. 

But Rents also should be available for purchase with crystals and not only real money.

Look. All I mean is, everyone should get equal opportunity to use this feature. It shouldn't be like...Person A gets spectator for rent (2 hrs) 5 days a week and person B is able to get only once in a week. That's wrong. Also, I mentioned "is able to get" and that means that one of them can buy easily and other has to hesitate. Look, the money factor is agreed. It's not wrong either. But I think they should also be allowed to use, by means of crystals (probably 20k or more depending time of rent)

He has made a super valid point. So, considering his idea, I think Permanent spectator modes should be easier to get. Of course, Karma and person's behaviour matters. But I find the required youtube subscriber count to be too much. 

Anyway, it's the devs going to make the decision, I can just give my opinion.

After I read that explanation, I bet this procedure was just a cheap workaround to have no code change.
Well.. now that they face an additional income, they might make the move to make a code change, so that the rent-me-spec user can not chant in battles.
 
You could also solve this via another workaround, be having a fixed set of predefined rent-me-spec accounts in the game, and if you rent one for you, you receive the login credentials via email. Those are valid for your timeslot.. afterwards your connection get's closed and the credentials of your used account get changed. The next one that rents that, receives the new credentials.
This would enable load control (by the limited amount of rent-me-spec accounts to let's say 100) but would require some pre-booking your timeslots (like a calender of timeslots for the next 10x24h, where you can book your 3h timeslot in advance. If you can't use it, you are unlucky. It's like if you missed a concert where you had the tickets already purchased).
Each slot is green if a rent-me-spec account is available for that time, and the timeslot turns red if all 100 rent-me-spec accounts are booked out.
That can also be automatized easily.

I'd love to have the spec mode available for crystals.. but I don't know if this will happen. Maybe later on.. it's not in our hands (we just manage idea's.. we don't design the game).

 

 

Today's spectator mode is a dangerous gift if given to the wrong hands, so there is definitely some coding necessary to reduce the abuse potential.

 

abuse ->  remedy

• It can be abused for esports / Clan wars -> add a button like "spectators enabled" in the battle creation menu, that will effect only rented spectators.
• It can be abused to pretend to be a battle mod ->  disable the rented spectaors chat feature in the battles
• Increase the server load without having additional income -> well.. solved if handed out for money

But until today there is no incentive, no bait, for Tanki to make this possible.

But as soon as you turn it into a business case, then there is a good reason.

 

Once all those points above are solved, and when the first wave of customers payed for it and the interrest lessens a bit, then you have a chance that the rent a spec mode could maybe be available for crystals too. I say maybe, because I can not think of all the influences it will have.. but I think you might have a chance.

 

 

 

But the spec mode is a luxury feature. It's nothing that makes you less compeative if you don't have it. It's like a paint, that can be purchased for money only.

There'll be way too much lag, the amount of players renting Spectator Mode would be way too much. Just by looking at how much players cry at this moment in time due to the current amount of lag in the game, this would destroy Tanki. Also the amount of violations that will occur are very unnecessary. Moreover Spectator Mode is not a toy, but a tool... as I've heard by many moderators.

The much better alternative to having public Spectator Mode is the "Hire a Spec" service. In my honest opinion I think all the people who have received Spectator Mode for the making of YouTube videos must contribute a certain amount of their active time to the service since there are alot more than 25 YouTubers with over 2K subscribers in the EN community who could've received Spectator Mode instead but weren't as lucky to do so.

Tanki should add an access to use "Spectator Mode" on rent like 1-3$ = 1-2 hour or something else!

 

By doing this player are able to solve their own problems by themselves, instead of asking others to record for their events or broadcast for their events.

Agree, Instead of asking people If you rent the spectator that will solve a lot of players problems because I know a lot of players would like to record with high quality but they can't, spectator Is better than taking video of yourself ,now If I ask any spectator to take video of me or something else, of course, he will refuse, so I hope spectator problem solve and I hope this suggestion accepted

Spectator should only be used by YouTubers and moderators like now. 

Spectator is a moderation tool which is helpful for chat and battle mods, not to rent it for a video.

I'm a YouTube spectator and believe me, it's hard work to get it. But to get it for everyone free it gets messed up.
