Ridiculous FPS for no reason?

Hi, When I play in chrome I get very low like 4-5 FPS. I have very good internet connection and I have cor i5 processor. I have 4GB video memory and 500GB storage memory. I have 2GB RAM. When I play tanki through downloadable client or standalone flash player , i get around 60 fps always. This problem only occurs when I play through chrome or any other browser.My PING are fine.

 

Please help me as I want to play through browser as it is more convenient then others.

Do you have more than 1 graphics card?

No, I have Nividia GT 630. I can run games like far cry 4 etc fine.

Try to do this:

1. Open the game from chrome.

2. Go to Task Manager

3. Right click on Google Chrome and select "details"

4. Then in the details tab, right click google chrome.

5. Select "Set Priority" - High or Realtime.

 

This method fixed my friends issue, worth a try.

High is more than enough in my opinion unless it is needed, but in his case, I don't think he needs.

High is fine, be very careful with the ''Realtime'' since that could freeze your system up because Windows basically tries to juggle process around to make it kinda like feel... multi-tasking, etc.

Yea I agree, high should be sufficient for Tanki.

if u have too many extensions running on chrome, that could mean that when ur opening chrome the extension r more than ur pc can handle. 

how many extensions do u have?

u may try disabling a few unnecessary ones

I have 3 extensions, a proxy, ad blocker and a video down loader. I set the priority to high and fps got little better and he game is now atleaset playable. But I had to disable everything in the graphics . I  think I should be able to play the fairly well with most of graphics on as I do in client.

i got an i3 processor with 4gb ram, 3.4GHz, and i play with full graphics 25-30 fps - very playable. idk what's wrong with u.

If it works fine everywhere except for chrome, just don't play on chrome. Its that simple...

its ridiculous that im getting now 10 fps on worst graphics but tankix has 20 fps

I'm having fps issues in Chrome too, used to get 50-60fps, now its 25-40fps. Time to switch browser. :/

The problem is not with my computer as I mentioned. I used to play tanki with 40-50 fps on my older computer which was weaker then this one. This problem has just occurred now. I think there is something wrong with the chrome. I will try other browsers and see if that works.

Edge/Internet Explorer works quite well for me in 'In-Private Browsing'. Chrome and Firefox never seem to work for me.
