What to buy? Which is better?

Ok so after doing some calculations amd thinking i found out that the total for the upgrades i want is 174000 (everything half price). These changes have changed my plans a bit. This includes: hunter m1, hunter m2, railgun m2, firebird m2, and tundra. I know it seems like a ton but its all added up. I will get one by one from sales and things. I switched to hunter becuse i want more HP and hunter fits me well. For now i will continue using hornet m1 with firebird m1 and also railgun m1 when i get it this thursday. My plan for now is save save save. Get hunter m1 and keep saving. How is it? ^_^

M3 is always better to have then M2. And as you have got rail M2 then i will strongly recommend getting the light kit. Thunder is not allowed on medium hull in any format

What are clan formats? I looked at it, and it said u cant use certain turrets on certain hulls, and certain hulls or certain maps? Whats that all about? Does that mean, if i have twins with viking, i cant be part of any clan?

That just means you can participate in some clan wars. You can join a clan no matter the combo. Just using that combo will make you an invalid player for that mode.

You guys think using hunter with firebird and railgun is a good idea. I need a bit more health than with my hornet m1. This is the all turret hull ive heard. The speed is fine. :)

@@tiger_of_malaysia I suggest against Mammoth, as new physics will make it a very stationary hull. Also, getting Isida would be a better choice than Twins because the rate of fire is being decreased by 33%. GL with your plan.

Well, since everyone is talking about their future plans...

 

 

Currently have (m1):

- Good old Smoky

- Firebird le noob gun

- Trusty Viking

- Fatty Mammy

- Wasp (zoom, zoom)

 

Future plan:

Step 1: Get Twins M1 (I heard it's getting nerfed, OMG!)

Step 2 (if Twins got nerfed): Isida M1

Step 3 (years later...): Isida M2

Step 4: Mammy M2

Step 5: Rustle or Hohloma (don't know which one)

Step 6: Isida M3

Step 7: Wasp M2

Step 8: Smoky M2

Step 9: Twins M2

Step 9: Get the rest...

I think that could work pretty well. I'd recommend getting Hornet M2 at some point though (maybe you could substitute that Mammoth M2 for it, if you're short for crystals? Mammoths will soon be nerfed, as mentioned above) to go with that Isida of yours. Hornet M3 also unlocks at a lower rank, so it might work better than getting Wasp M2 later on. Hornet would also be a lot more stable whilst still maintaining speed than Wasp with the new physics.

 

As for the paint, I'd choose Rustle; it's probably more practical, though Hohloma looks nice.

After physics twins should be out of your choices. Smoky and thunder are and still will be nice on viking. Titan will be better than mammoth as mammoth will not be as powerful.

Will the titan be a little faster? I heard that they are making the Mammoth health a little lower, but increasing the mass. So ummm, will they make the titans health little higher and make it a little faster? Mostly i care bout is the speed tho. Cuz that would go great with thunder then.

Sounds like a good plan, certainly achievable by Major rank if you've already saved up some crystals. I own Hunter m1 and railgun m1 myself, and have strongly considered upgrading both of them to m2, but I'm still hesitant, as both upgrades seem rather minimal. Hunter goes wonderfully with Isida in medium and small sized maps, and works well with pretty much any weapon. It has the stability for railgun, and the speed as well. But the m2 upgrade is not that much better than M1. Only 23 more HP, and 0.7 extra speed... That isnt worth 90k in my opinion, or even half of that on a good sale. Same for railgun m2, its only 0.1 faster fire rate, and +20 more damage per shot with barely better turning speed. So what if its purple... yeah its cooler looking but... those crystals lol.

 

Im hoping to wait until after the new physics come, to determine which hull I will upgrade to M2. I love hunter, I just hope that it will get a decent speed upgrade with the coming update. I heard that it is going to have worse 'acceleration' after the physics... thats sort of a big deal for close range users, especially isida where you need to constantly be pretty much on top of your opponents.

 

Also I just thought of something... (everyone feel free to reply to this as it seems like a good idea in theory) With Dictator + Isida, or any close range weapon for that matter... isnt it better to always control your hull in reverse...? Since its such a large hull, and the turret is on the back... if you face forward with a close range weapon, while attacking... in theory you would lose about a meter, almost two meters of distance since your hull is seperating your weapon being located on the back, from your opponent. If you drive the Dictator in reverse however, it would be able to out-range an enemy... for example, Freeze + Dict vs Freeze (facing backwards) + Dict (facing forwards) - Same modifications, shouldnt the backwards facing freeze be able to technically deal damage while staying out of range of the forward facing dictator..?  Just a thought. :)

Thanks. Exactly what i think. It has enough speed for my firebird and enough stability for railgun. :)

 

I also think the jump from m1 to m2 for both hunter and railgun are minimal. Although its a diffrence. Id say its worth it at half off. I mean, a part is the looks of them. Rail turns purple (you could intimidate). Also hunter looks rather cool at m2. Other hulls like hornet have small jumps as well and by that small improvement they do much better. You can survive longer therefore get more kills. The speed increases by a bit, but at least its 0.7 which can help you feel more comfterable. Also, the jump gets bigger to m3. So it will be worth it by then. Railgun you can one shot hornet m1 and cause more damage for kill stealing. So i think these are both worth the 45k half price. That combo at m1 and m2 and especially m3 are amazing and deadly. :D

No. The good thing about kits is you dont need to purchase the m1 versions before buying it. If you get the kit you automatically jump to m2 for those two. :)

Okay, I know what I'm gonna do - I'm gonna save up and not buy Hunter M1 now. I'm gonna get to 35.3k which'll be enough for Hornet M2 half price (Christmas time) what I'll do is get to 66k which will be enough to buy Hunter M1 full price (I'm prepared to pay) but still have enough for Hornet M2 at sale.

I have 30k now and I'm so tempted to buy Hunter M1 now. I feel it's better off I don't do that.
