What to buy? Which is better?

Hey everyone what's a good paint for me to use?

Here's my garage:

M0: Smoky, Twins, Thunder, Hunter, Titan, and Viking

M1: Firebird

I can't find a good all-around paint that I can like and actually use. Though I've been considering Swash...

Hey guys, how ya doin'? Enjoyed the sale? I bought Freeze m2 thanks for asking! :P

 

Anyway, I LOVE the thing, but the only m1 hull i've got is the Titan and it's too damn slow (but its good for defense). So I'm planning to get a speedier hull. I'd like one with good speed (enough to somewhat keep up with Hornets), but have enough health to keep me alive from longer range turrets to actually freeze the enemies (hence the name).

 

So I've been thinking of the Hunter (I know doughnut2100 will agree), but I'd like your opinions as well. I'll pair Freeze m2 and Tundra with the chosen hull.

DW abou that? Ok then. Get the light M2 kit, and when you rank, get the Heavy M2 kit. You'll then have: M2 Freeze, Isida, Rico, Hornet, and Mammoth.

At m0, they are both good. Once you get into m1s, switch thunders wasp with hornet and then that will work.

Smoky is also great at m1, since you can get it earlier than thunder. Once you rank to WO4 get the OP thunder m1. :)

My team had a major, colonel, field marshel I believe, and me a WO5. I was using rail/hunter m1. We had a freeze/dictator m2, and two thunders m2 with mid tanks. The other team, was filled with field marshels and gens. They had two smoky/hornet m3, mammoth/rico m3, and freeze/hornet m3. They won of course, but I got third place. 15kills-24 deaths and not drugging. Most in the game were drugging, I was second most of the game until a thunder on my team started fully drugging.

I think that was pretty good, even one on the other team admitted it.

I didnt only join to see how I would do, but to observe what is effective on high ranks. From what I had heard, thunder sucks at drug-high ranked battles. Well thats partially true from what I saw. These guys were pretty skilled, and they did a good job with those thunders. The splash damage was not used at all, but they would keep killing the mammoth and hurting the hornets, so then I would shoot them and make them drop the flag. The smokys, were pretty darn effective. I got hit by a crit a few times. I would be done in about 5 shots if I was not careful. The fire rate was so quick, and the kills they made were amazing. Smoky is truly effective if used right of course. Sometimes they would make nooby moves and we would kill them. Then freeze, wasent that big of an impression to me. Their freeze got killed pretty easy. In fact, it barely even took the flag. He was defending mostly, so when I went to take the flag once or twice, I would see him freeze my team mates even with drugs and kill them.

So what did this show to me? Thunder is not that bad as I hear. Smoky is great at high ranks.

Railgun (because I was using it) is very nice at high ranks if I can get an ok score with m1.

Imagine at m3!

Of course, this was just one battle. These are not true in every battle. But in this battle these were the observations I made. It had drugging, CTF, and sandbox in it which I see very commonly.

I love high rank battles.

Helps me learn a lot.

So im using twins m1 and mammoth m1 right now and i just love it. When i go to higher rank battles i see that twins m2 is even better especially when drugging.So i have two questions. It depends upon your plans and your distaste for certain turrets. However, I'd say get Jaguar over Swash, as it's more focused in protections.

So im using twins m1 and mammoth m1 right now and i just love it. When i go to higher rank battles i see that twins m2 is even better especially when drugging.So i have two questions. SHould i upgrade m2 mammoth when i rank up, or switch to titan because of new pysics? Also for a paint. I have gotten advice to go for rustle, any other opinions?

Mammoth will become slower but more stronger in the new physics,Titan will be faster but less stronger then Mammoth.Silence are most common so you won't need that much speed form Titan in that small map.So go for Mammoth.Titan unlocks at Colonel so it will take sometime to get to that rank and your gonna need a strong hull by then so Mammoth. 

 

And as for paints,pretty much the most dominate weapon that could kill Mammoth so fast is firebird (Especially at M2) so you might get a Firebird protection paint to help you stay alive longer.

 

Most protection paints below Major are not that useful for some,you can get Roger if you can't stand Twins at your rank or Spark which also helps but for now.Stick with Rustle until you have enough for a Firebird protection paint.

 

Get Loam if your annoyed by firebirds.It will certainly help you in most battles with firebird.Since firebird has increased rapidly in the past few weeks.

It's pointless! Unless you drug.

He's planning to get Rustle in the future,Smoky M1 is pointless against lieutenants and above until Colonel.Assuming he knows how to use twins so well then he could easily flip any short range weapons or knock enemies shots off track or use it's knockback to it's advantage but firebird is a pain when you face them.If your playing CTF and there's bound to have 3 or more Firebirds on the enemy team on Major ranks so it's nice to have that in mind.And as for Rails,i have to admit that your right about that BUT whats the point? Intelligent railgun users could easily avoid conflict with twins,even you know that.So it's pointless getting Electra,Carbon or Tundra/Digital.

Well i'm not saying that you have to get Loam but firebirds could deal a bit of trouble.But it's your experience,not mine.You can choose whether or not to get it or if it's necessary of not.You did ask if there's any more opinions so i've gave you my answer.
