What to buy? Which is better?

I'm planning on playing mainstream maps to get a Gold for the contest, anyone have suggestions on combo and strategy?

Polygon - Freeze + Hornet/Hunter/Viking with some sort of Thunder and Rail paint

Serphuov/Kungur/Bobruisk - Freeze/Thunder + Hornet with Rail protection

Silence - I don't play this map often, but I guess Thunder/Freeze with Viking

 

 

husto: i have railgun m1 and hornet m1 and i dont know what upgrade railgun m2 or hornet m2 ?? :)

If you have M1 Hunter, then get M2 Rail first. If not, then I would get M2 Hornet first, since you will be open targets against M2 Rails. Although M2 Rails don't 1-shot M1 Hornets as often as I wish they would.

Yes it is good. I have never used M1 Thunder since I bought the product kit, but I will say that it is a good gun in DM. However, since there are many cedar's and rustles, its effectiveness is decreased. However, if you play maps like Bobruisk and Serpuhov where everyone is in Rail paint, Thunder is a lot more effective.

I Know it's kind of late but should I buy anything or save for hornet m1?

Isida is good, but i rather freeze, i said if you are a drugger, you have absolutely no need to take titan which has less health points, Freeze can freeze your enemies and you can go for the gold.

People who are saying viking is bad, after new physics come out dictator will be the lightest medium hull where as viking will be the heaviest medium hull meaning it can push away all tanks except mammy and titan + it has very good stability compare to dictator. I have my hornet if i feel like to play as an attacker and will buy viking m3 so i can defend the flag easily and block incoming enemy tanks and buy sometime for my team to react on it.

It doesnt make sense to me, how dictator will be 'lighter' than hunter or viking. Its huge... is it made out of carbon fiber, while the other tanks are made from steel? It doesnt make sense! I dont think this should take place with dictator, I mean yes, it should be fast, with increased turning speed, but I dont feel like it should feel so light weight with its huge size lol.

go look back to before rebalance, dictator was actually a med hull :D

It still will have less health points at M3 than Dictator will. I don't think the physic updates are gonna change the stats. Maybe for Twins and Freeze, maybe...

Well first of all, you are just looking at the stats. The differences are the height of dictator which can get you shot easier or be annoying. I honestly dont like how dictators shape is. Of course viking has its horrible long width. But, the physics are at the least making it faster. :)

Since when blocking enemy tanks considered sabotaging. And my friend you are forgetting MicroUpgrades, once MUed then compare vikings stats with dictators

So far in the new Physics test, Wasp/Smoky seems to be (one of the) best combo(s) in my opinion. :P Especially on drugs.

 

Mosquito could be making a come-back also. I've tried it out, and if you shoot sideways, less impact! Less of a chance to flip! I've got Freeze M2, Smoky M2, and Railgun M2. All perfect with Wasp M2!

 

Too bad I'm so far away from Wasp. . .about 65,000 crystals away... :lol: I'm sure I'll get there.

 

Then I'll save for  a paint with both Railgun and Shaft paint maybe. I used Jade in the test server and that was perfect. Shafts could not 1-shot me even with Full-power. We're talking all M3's here people. xD
