so im almost major, wanting to buy rustle paint and Viking m0 and m1, but i just realized, im only 105 000 crystals away from buying middle M2 kit(Thunder m2, Viking m2, prodigi, emeraljd and 1 more paint. I was even considering about paying 20 € for crystals( about 45k-55k) on a sale if possible.

What i actually want here from ranks Brigadier or higher is: What kid of combos do people up there use? Mammoth twins? Thunder Viking? and also paints.

heres what i use. viking m3 and rail m3 with prodigi paing. Wtih the prodigi paint few rail gunners stands in my way because of the massive protection. I see alot of people using the railgun but a paint without or with few railgun protection.

Here are the different strategies i see with the railgun.

wasp and hornet are for railgunners who want to rush around the map shooting everything they see.

the mammoth is for a railgunner that wants to sit back at the flag or comfortably snipe.

The viking is a combination of both, and this one works best for me.

But you choose which one suits you the best.

 

And with higher ranks i dont see alot of hulls with the prodigy paint. alot of people are running massive firebird and freeze protection paints as well as smoky protection. 

 

So i recommend you upgrade your railgun first to see how you like to use it and then you upgrade the hull you would like to incorporate into your strategy.

2) buy m2 thunder now

3) buy rustle paint (previous paint was leopard but I think paints are a waste)

I was thinking to buy rustle paint since it is helpful with rail and takes long till I rank. Or should I still save for m2 smoky/m3 hornet instead of thunder m2.

Idk. I'm getting it at the sale, since I play DM, and I get bored of Thunder sometimes. Moreover, I need it since my team usually plays team wars in Silence, and Twins is decent in Silence. Are you getting it?

Lol you can't really compare the two. They go well with each other, and if you can get them both, then it's a good combo.

1) Good plan, if you're going to be satisfied with Rail/Hornet

2) M2 Thunder is a powerful gun, but theres a lot of protection paints against it. I have both Rail and Thunder M2, and I don't use Thunder a lot due to the high amount of Cedars.

3) Don't buy Rustle unless you're getting Thunder. Also, if you have Cedar and don't mind Freezes, you won't need Rustle. Finally, you could consider getting a Rail paint like Digital, since Rail/Hornet is best for long maps.

Well I personally use m3 freeze and m3 viking, with inferno paint. Sometimes I like to whip out my hornet for cruising around and capturing flags, but viking has served me well since before the rebalence, as has my freeze. When I'm feeling in a long range mood, I whip out my smoky or railgun, but usually end up back with freeze due to my lack of practice with those type of guns. After the recent updates, there's no "bad" gun to use, you just have to find the combination that works best for you. Of all your options, I would say getting the medium m2 kit that you wanted sounds like a very versatile solution, if you like thunder. If not, buy each item individually.

 

Is Twins worth getting despite the new changes?

That's a very controversial topic, some will say definitely, others will think you are crazy if you do buy it, and my personal opinion is that yes, it is still worth it, though it is significantly de-powered relative to some of the other options out there. Yes, it will win many head to head face offs, but now it is a little harder to hit moving targets, that's the only thing that has been changed. So if you don't mind slower shots, it's totally worth the cost!

I like using a freeze turret with a light/medium hull for the maps you listed, it really depends if you want a good DL, want to help your team, want to help yourself, or just want to have fun!

I feel like I've answered a similar question already, maybe you asked this before? I feel like overal you will benefit more greatly from saving up, as who knows what will be released in 2014 that could help you achieve your overall goal! Your plan to get m2 hornet m2 rail is good, and I think that you will like thunder more than smoky, as I have smoky m3 and it's not as good as m3 thunder IN MY OPINION. Some may find it better, and it very well may be, it's just my experience.

It's hard to compare turrets and hulls, as they have different functions, but if you are looking for the most versatile of the two, choose hornet m2.v

If you already play with thunder, keep upgrading that and get rustle! I would normally say get freeze, but you already have an m2 close range gun, so you should get something a little more versatile!

I would suggest freeze m2 or hornet m2. Hornet is actually quite stable, I use it m3, but you have to know how to use it. Depending on what hulls you already have, freeze goes well on wasp, hornet, hunter, viking, mammoth, or titan.. So pretty much everything haha. Tell me what you have for hulls already and I'll recommend an option based off that,

I currently have Dictator M1, Titan M1, and Mammoth M1.

Hornet is good for Freeze, and Shaft/Hornet can be fun to use. If you like using Freeze, I recommend Hornet, since it has good speed. For Shaft, I would go with Viking and possibly Titan. M1 Rail goes well with Hornet and Viking. If you prefer camping more, then Viking. If you like running around and doing surprise attacks, then Hornet. If you want to save crystals, I recommend you get Hornet for Freeze and Titan for Shaft. You don't want to miss out on a random 65% Sale on Rail and not have enough crystals!

If you only get one hull, get hornet for your freeze, hornet and freeze go well together.

M2 Rail? Unless you rank or your rank didn't update, then go with Hornet. You don't have any M2 hulls, so M2 Hornet will definitely help.

  You are right that a paint would be useless at your rank. Wait to buy ONE like rustle a captain or higher, then set your aim high on TWO or THREE top grade paints like clay, Zeus, or inferno. Buying both hulls could be beneficial if you are still testing out styles of gameplay, but once you know your style well don't upgrade other turrets or hulls mindlessly just for the sake of getting something new.

Since you have an m2 gun already, definitely go for a hull! The hulls are what move you across the battlefield and capture flags, and ultimately what give you points. It's CRUCIAL to have a reliable hull, and hornet has the perfect valence of speed, acceleration, and stability. Once you get comfortable with your upgraded hull then consider buying another turret.

Hey blackout warrior can you help me plz. So i have a Lieutenant Colonel Account with 90K crys. I recently ranked, and I have M2 Isida, Freeze, Rail, Thunder, Shaft, Hornet, Viking, and Mammoth. 90% of the battles I play are Poly DM. The other 10% are mostly Iran, Bobrusik, Sandbox, Kungur, and Serphuov CTF. I like to midfield/snipe. For DM, I was wondering whether I should get M2 Twins or not?
