Is it worth getting Twins M2?

Yes Twins M2 is worth it. I got it at the New Year's sale, and I have micro-upgraded the damage 3 times (for a total of 19K cry). Simply put, its awesome. You will win almost all duels against other tanks, and if you use it in DM, you will very quickly realize its OPness. I only recommend you get it if you play a lot of Silence or Polygon. In other maps, it's harder to use.

 

FC, my gaming style is attack and defence, but not midfielding. I'm really far from Lt. Colonel, I have Fire M1, Freeze M1, Rail M2, Hornet M2, Viking M1, Titan M1, Mammy M1, Shaft M1, Smoky M1, Thunder M1, and a bunch of M0 crap. I use Jaguar and Tundra.

Oh ok. So it seems like you play Rail/Hornet probably 90% of the time. In that case, Fire M2 for attacking and Freeze for attacking or defending. Thunder for both, I guess.

So, you're suggesting Thunder M2, Freeze M2, or Fire M2? I've heard that Thunder is not good at defending. If a sale comes along, in which order should I get them? (Basically in order of importance).

take a ride in test server and test a fully MU thunder and do some ownings against all :D

thunder is very good for defense if you know how to use it..

i was literally refering to beast=monster..

I find thunder a bad gun for defending, because the splash damage isn't so good for you when they're closing in on you, because you do lots of damage to yourself. Especially if you're a hornet user. I'll go with Fire M2, then maybe I'll get Thunder M2 at Lt. Colonel, and Wasp M2 at Colonel.

Titan M1 is better than mammy m1, I would suggest hornet m1 though. Thunder m1 is a great choice.

Really depends on your play style. I got rail m2 at first lt. and it was really effective, it could pretty much destroy everything with a double power. fire m2 is also good, but as I already mentioned, we need your  play style.

You have Hornet M2, so you could go with Freeze or Fire (I recommend Fire). Thunder/Hornet is not that bad, although Thunder tends to be more suitable for heavier hulls. In order of importance: Fire, and then Thunder or Freeze (probably Thunder). I don't own Fire M2, but I can tell you that Thunder M2 is more effective than Freeze M2.

Yes, i know it's a good defensive weapon, but in defense you need two things, to stop enemies and to destroy them, well, freeze does the first one quite OK while Twins never runs out of ammo, thus i vote for them, however, it wouldn't harm to use an extra thunder eh? :D

(I have 88000 crys and the next m1 i plan to get is rail so I will still have crys leftover if I get it now)

88K crystals? I would get the turret kit, if I were you. You can probably go ahead and get Hornet M1 full price, or you can wait, since Hornet goes on sale a lot.

Mammoth is still good in DM. I pretty much ranked from WO1 to where I am now in Poly DM. And yes Mammoth is probably good if you're using Smoky or Thunder, but I think TItan is better for Twins in DM.
