Hohloma has sucky protection against uncommon weapons. There are much more firebirds when people get to the higher ranks, so I think Loam is better. But I agree that Hohloma does look much better than Loam.

I have Hornet M2 and I use Tundra paint. I MU hull and paint upto 34% (almost same as digital)

But I still die by 2 Rail M2 shots. I never survived 2 direct shots by Rail M2.

 

And I don't think so Digital will make much difference. (still not sure about that)

But I once killed a player with Hornet M2 and Digital paint in 2 shots.(but still not that sure about it)

Now that I've obtained Viking M2, I can thoroughly think about if I should get Twins M2 or Titan M2 or move straight on to Thunder M3. What would you recommend?

 

1. Go for Twins M2 then Thunder M3

2. Go for Titan M2 then Thunder M3

3. Go for Twins M2 then Titan M2 then Thunder M3

4. Go straight to Thunder M3

5. Go for Thunder M3 then Titan M2

6. Go for an expensive paint then Thunder M3

 

I don't have a specific playstyle since I use turrets and hulls across the board. My garage currently:

 

Firebird M2

Freeze M2

Railgun M2

Thunder M2

 

Hornet M2

Viking M2

Mammoth M2

 

That equates to seven. I'm steering toward No.5 since Thunder and Titan is simply a great combo but I'm not sure if it's really worth it.

It will. You would get two shotted less often.

Dictator, I find is quite slow compared with viking. I think Viking is probably better as it's dimensions are not as large and it is easier to avoid being hit. I have Both rail and thunder M1 and I have to say that I would stick with thunder M1. It can easily defeat a rail head on head. Rail is good if you like to use your supplies e.g. double damage and camp and snipe enemies. If you like attacking the base and like to move around a lot, use Thunder as it has splash damage and can kill enemies even when out of sight. If I were you, I would go for Viking and Thunder (M1). I am currently using Viking M1 with Thuder M0 and do very well.... as soon as I rank up once more I can get Thunder M1... my thinking behind asking about Dictator is due to the extra speed and movement but I think I will stick with Viking M1 for a while longer!

 

decisions hmm :rolleyes:  wondering if to opt for Hornet or hunter with maybe freeze just to mix things up a bit..... I have mainly used thunder tbh but am thinking learning a close range weapon just to add to honing my all round battle skills :D

I would say it depends on sales. If a titan or twins sale goes on, you go with it. If you rank and a thunder sale goes on, you get that. You get the point.

That's OK. At the moment I have Hornet Fire (Both M2) and I'm planning on getting Twins or Thunder M2 along with Viking M2. Choices eh! I have a good experience with most guns. If you want to familiarize yourself with a sprayer or isida, go for isida or freeze first. I went straight in with fire and i have pretty much mastered fire! I have isida and fire both M2 and fire is better by far. Fire is good on M2 and M3 but not on M1. If you want to use a sprayer, use it on Hornet or maybe even Viking? Sprayers need speed to catch up enemies.You may see freeze and mammys doing well in some battles but they sit in the base doing not much!!! If you want dynamic gameplay, go for Hornet Fire. If you want to defend and attack then thunder and hornet or viking is good. At the moment I have 154000 crystals and I am waiting for a half price day!!! Fire I liked at first but I recommend freeze or isida as the reload is quick for beginners. You have to be very skilled when using Firebird!

Twins/Viking is a sweet combo. I use it in DM a lot (I don't have Titan), and it very pretty effective. I'm not sure about M2 Titan, but after trying it in the test server, the speed seems good. I would recommend just save for Thunder M3. I have 130K, and I'm also tempted to save for Thunder as well as another M2 (Smoky). Twins is only good for DM and Silence. Other than that, in large maps, you are better off with a weapon like Smoky. I'm also in the same situation as you, deciding whether to get M2 Titan or not.
