What to buy? Which is better?

I normally use M2 Railgun, M2 Isida or M1 Thunder (M2 soon), with M2 Hornet. I want to get a stronger hull that will work well with these turrets, any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe M2 Viking or Titan.

I was in the same situation. I'd go for M2 Viking since you can make it into a better M2 Titan with a bit of MU'ing.

Viking M2. You like a bit of speed I suppose, so going from Hornet to Titan would be probably disappointing.

 

Considering the weapons you have, they all combine well with the Viking.

Railgun and Isida are perhaps better with the Hornet, but you want

a stronger hull: so than I would say Viking.

 

Titan and Isida? Bad choice IMO. Isida is made for the Hornet! (boring though...sorry!)

Titan and Rail? Is a good combo: that is if you like camping

 

Titan and Viking can both be very good in combination with Thunder.

Titan-Thunder will be more or less restricted to defending and DM 's.

Where Viking-Thunder is a lot more versatile: good allrounder and is just as good (better?) as Titan in DM 's.

 

The HP of the heavy hulls looks impressive on paper (and in combination with Double Armour it sadly is...)

but having more speed really makes up for it!

Very simple: nope! If you want to upgrade something on your Rail than upgrade some steps of the damage.

 

If you upgrade a whole bar like the damage bar you get a little discount as well, don 't know how much though.

No, didn 't say that. To get the full 70% discount you need to upgrade all parameters and this is way too

expensive even with that discount.

 

You better play and buy the next upgrade: the M1 Rail in your case.

If you micro-upgrade equipment below M3 it is very simple.

Only really worth while are:

- Hull: MU the HP some (cheap) steps

- Turret: MU the damage some (cheap) steps

 

If you only upgrade 1 bar, you also get a discount, but a lot less than that 70%!

So if I'm buying M2 Twins and Titan M2, I'm thinking Viking M2 would also be great. But not sure what order in which to buy them. First is Twins M2 but not sure on the hulls. Also would Titan or Mammoth be better in drug wars?

i have freeze m2, thunder m1 (epic at medium range), rail m2 and hornet m2.

so what should i do now? should i buy isida m2 or thunder m2 or just save my crystals for future?

i play in maps like silence, sandbox, kolhoz, opposition, hill, serpuhov, fort knox and a few other medium/ long range maps.

i want isida because it is best for any situation (defence, attack or gaining points) and thunder due to its damage at mid range maps (it does very low damage at long ranges, which stops me to buy it)

Hello... It's been ages since I've visited this topic. I have a good reason for returning though. I have a decision to make over the next few days, in regards to kits.... or no kits at all.

 

A little bit about brandybabyxx:

I'm currently 235k xp away from ranking to General, where I would unlock M3 Railgun/Wasp. This is my goal... because I truly love wasp, and can't wait to have it M3... its been my dream hull since day one. Lately, I've played alot of XP/BP games and I am really enjoying it... but I still miss my Shaft and Hunter and hope to return to them soon. Unfortunately, I rank pretty slowly... I dont think I'll be General rank for a few months at minimum.

 

Options:

1. Current Light M3 Kit - Wasp + Freeze + Zeus + Winter  - 399k Crystals

=== PROS ===  I LOVE WASP. ALOT. I really can't wait for M3... so excited you have no idea. :rolleyes:

=== CONS === 

-My keyboard wont let me press 3 buttons at once for Freeze... and I don't really enjoy using Freeze. I have it M2 and I havent touched it for like 6 months. I highly doubt I'll use M3 Freeze at least until I MU it, and get a new computer that will (hopefully) allow 3 buttons to be pressed at once, for circling tactics.

-And Zeus looks extremely nice... but I wouldn't be able to use Zeus with Wasp for XP battles since I'll still die in one hit... Zeus will work great for my Titan + Smoky combo... but wont help my Shaft + Hunter/Wasp combos one bit... so I'll still be stuck without a good paint. Winter is sub-par. I'll need Thunder/Shaft/Rail protection for my Shaft/Hunter combo. Same for mosquito combo for the most part too.

 

2. New Light M3 Kit - Hornet + Rail + Needle + Spark - 299k Crystals

=== PROS === Rail M3... Needle? Cheap price? My hornet is M0 so the kit's value would be extremely good... M1+m2+m3 hornet for same price.

=== CONS ===

-I HATE HORNET. The drifting is horrible, it turns badly and is too low to the ground for many shots with railgun, that wasp can handle much easier. I really really hate hornet and I have it M0 currently. I am a wasp lover forever, and hornet hater... its too mainstream... and too big.. and I dont think it looks that good either.. and turret position is just straight up bad.

-Needle isnt that great... is it? I don't think Needle will benefit me as much as Zeus would in the long run... but maybe I'm wrong. It has no rail protection... no thunder.. no freeze... I really want Picasso paint. Spark will be useless... and it doesnt look as cool as Zeus.

-I don't think Rail M3 is that important for XP mode, I think the hull is more important since everyone dies in 2 hits no matter what... and I prefer other weapons over railgun in a regular match (non XP mode) so I don't see myself using railgun very often outside of XP... and using M2 railgun allows me to have to be even more skilled, because I'm at a disadvantage to M3 rails reload speed. It improves my skill, going against the odds.

 

3. Don't buy either kit... cause both are expensive and I have tons of problems with both of them...

=== PROS === I won't waste crystals, and will not end up with useless items in my garage that I don't like... (I like having a clean garage btw.)

=== CONS ===

Wasp M3 is so far away.... and so are the nice paints.... (though the ones in the kit arent that amazing) Rail m3 is also equally far away.... and I'm anxious to buy something now... :(

 

Please don't just say 'option #' but give details as to why you chose that option... thanks. <3

my doubt is: can i buy a M2 Hull kit if i have a m0 hull that is included on the kit and then use the M2, or i have to buy M1 first?

You don't have to buy the M1s. It's in the price of the kit anyway. For example, you have Hunter M0 and you decide to buy the hulls kit, you'll have it M2 instantly.
