I would wait for the sale; it would give more time to get used to the weapon, as well as give time to be sure that is what you want.

Guys, should I purchase the M2 Medium kit? Factors to consider:

 

- I already have Thunder M2, Viking M1 and Sandstone

- I have Hornet M2 and Hunter M2, and wish to obtain another M2 hull

- Emerald and Prodigi are two of the three paints I want to end up with in the higher ranks (Emerald, Prodigi, Inferno)

- I am not short on crystals at all. 

 

Alternatively, should I rank once to get Viking M2, and then wait until M3 ranks for the paints?

 

Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm, it depends on how many crystals you have. It could make more sense to first save for some early M2s (Isida, Hornet) and then consider getting Viking too.

"I am not short on crystals at all" sort of gives the answer straight to you in my opinion! I know you're not a super-quick player, and I'd say its definitely worth it to get the kit. Its not even that expensive, so you'll still have some cash left in the bank. No-brainer for me.

New product kits coming out and probably new light m3 kit. If it's short range weapon in the kit, il get thunder m3 at brig, if it's a long range weapon, il get isida m3.

Hunter has a bit less Protection than Dictator, its M2 also unlocks one rank later than Dictator's; but it does have higher Maximum speed, and is smaller. Dictator on the other hand does have more Protection, less Maximum speed, and is a bit larger. It is a matter of preference really, most weapons work rather well on either of those. The one you enjoy using is what I would go for.

Digital and Sandstone are both mainly rail-protective paints. You can see the difference. Digital gives less protection from less turrets. While sandstone gives less protection but from more turrets.

If you follow 'Quality is worth quantity', then go for sandstone as it has more protection against more turrets compared to Digital. :)
