I have these M2

 

Viking Hornet Hunter Mammoth

Fire Freeze Isida Thunder Twins

Prodigy, Emerald,

 

And I have about 550k cry, and I'm torn between what is get at brigadier. I know for a fact of getting m3 light kit, but then that leaves 250k,should I buy -

 

Heavy M2 [for Rico and Inferno and Urban]

 

Wasp M2 [My favored Hull, I use my m1 Wasp better and M2 Hornet] and save

 

Rico M2 and save

 

Wasp M2 and Rico M2 and save the rest.

 

Or just save

Get the Rico and save. It will really do well paired with your viking.

Hi people.

I am Stupido, and as you can see from my rank, I am pretty new to the game.

 

I bought the turret called Twins, and I wonder which of the Hulls would best suit it.

 

I will start by explaining my opinion about each hull.

 

Wasp- I don't like wasp as a hull overall, especially not on twins, I think it's too easy to be killed, and it's more suitable for freeze or firebird, not twins.

 

Hunter- I actually think this is good, because it is slightly fast, and has some HP.

 

Titan- This is also an OK hull, but maybe a little bit too slow for a weapon like Twins.

 

Dictator- This might be also good, because it's a pretty balanced hull, with both speed and HP.

 

Hornet- Similar to Wasp, has alot of speed which in my opinion, twins don't need so much, and has too little HP.

 

Wiking- It's like Hunter, but with little speed, that's why I don't rly like it.

 

Mammoth- I see people using these two together, and they're  together in the "Heavy Tank M3 Kit". The reason I don't like mammoth is that it's so SLOW. Even at M3 it's speed is really slow, and it's really big.

 

Please reply and tell me which you think is best, and why, thanks in advance :)

I would recommend you to buy Hunter, it's the best one for twins in my opinion at your rank. When you level up, get Viking.

Smoky is good but not in long range anymore, it's like medium range. Twins for me are expensive and I got them M0 and rico unlocks at commander - too late for me. Between thunder and smoky what would you recommend with Viking or hornet M3.

 

ps. I have rustle which is an advantage when using thunder; self-damage will be less.

Depends. Can you use Wasp correctly? It's a more difficult hull to accomplish using compared to Hornet, which is why I use Wasp.

(edit) But if you go with Wasp, be aware that you might want to buy a Railgun paint to stop Railguns from 1-shotting you. If you're not OK with Railguns 1-shotting you if you

don't have paint, then maybe Hornet would be your go to hull. :P All depends on you man.

At M2 Wasp has more health than Hornet FYI, and a cheap paint like Forester would just do the job.

@TigerofMalaysia: You're a Lieutenant Colonel, and Inferno would still be quite some time away. It depends.

If you're fine as of right now, and don't need any significant upgrade in protection, then strive for the Inferno paint.

If you really can't wait and NEED a paint upgrade, then I'd say buy a paint that would fit your needs and future needs until Inferno is obtainable.

 

Though I'd say go for Inferno. :P

 

(edit) Though I have to ask, Freeze's freeze-time is shorter now. Do  you still need Inferno paint? Or are you going to choose another paint? Emerald? Urban? Spark? :P

@Doduobird: Hey dude! Long time no see! And you've caught up to my rank! :D

And yes, I am fully aware of that at M2. ;)

However, you have to look at the future too. At M3, Hornet takes the lead again, though that's not counting Micro-upgrades. . . .so someone may have to check that.

Which is also why I don't get why Hornet-users are complaining. Hornet is still a great hull, and it was, like the Devs said, a bit too good pre-rebalance. Furthermore, it wasn't nerfed that badly.

Not like how Mammoth was. :rolleyes: It still retains the awesome stability for a light hull.

 

Yup, Forester does do the job, but beware of M2 Rails. They will still 1-shot you majority of the time. You will RARELY survive with 1 hp, and that's from full health.

That's why I have my Wasp equipped with Digital right now. B)

 

But you can't just look at health/speed. Size and maneuverability also come into play. Can you deal with Wasp's unstableness? That is the question. What's the point of running with the flag if you can't control yourself and flip over? Or run into walls? Pick the best one for YOU. It's all about how YOU play.
