when i hit rank brigadier i'm thinking of buying light kit m3, is it worth the crystals?

I currently have:

~M2 thunder

~M2 isida

~M2 hornet

~M2 viking

~rustle

~220k crystals

If i buy light kit m3 it costs me 300k crystals, but if i buy m3 hornet and m0,1,2,3 railgun separately, it costs me 252k crystals, if there will be a 50% sale at that time.

My question here is, are the paints worth the extra 50k?

 

P.S: i have never used railgun after the rebalance in 2012, so im not a "pro" using it, also note that i want to get high D/Ls with it (3 or higher), so i want to know if its good for that aswell.

IMO I would use firebird m1

it served me very well at lower ranks

If you will get Thunder + Viking will be better.And you should get Emerald then.It is perfect when do you use Thunder,because it is harder to self-kill.I have m2 Medium kit (Viking m2 +Thunder m2 + Emerald) and it is still very good :)

Hello guys....i want to buy a paint....budget is below 36 000......i was looking for corrosion or tundra....but could u help me out.....suggest ne some gud paints...and whats about swash?..it looka good but the protection isnt gud....plzzz help and feel free to reply

what hull do you use/what is your style?

 

If you like "flying" and using fire or freeze to get in the enemy's face (wasp or hornet): I suggest Tundra for protection against rail or wait for a sale and get Cedar or Roger.

 

If you like Medium Support (Hunter or Viking) with a smoky or thunder go with Corrosion or desert.

 

If you like Sniping in the bushes (Titan or Mammoth) and rail or shaft use tundra corrosion or Cedar.

 

swash is not good. yeah it looks cool but as you said protection sucks. really i go for stats against looks.

 

 

If you save up to 49000, like a guy told me to do, get the paint kit. you get a lot of good paints to choose from. good luck!

i suggest, by the way i have swash it is good, anyways i suggest get ummm...., tundra it is very good also don't buy paint kits they are a  waste of crystals 

i have 116k crystals so i'm wondering what to buy

i disagree with you there for 50 grand you get python, tundra, desert and a bunch of other good paints that you can use depending on where you go

I'm also saving for that kit. The main point of the kit is that you get M3 Railgun 3 ranks earlier, at Brigadier instead of General (a gap of 283000 xp) and M3 Hornet 1 rank earlier. The paints aren't amazing, but Spark could become a great Rico paint with a few MUs. Needle would probably go unused unless you need a Shaft paint, because Smoky is pretty uncommon these days.

Corrosion is junk, don't buy it. Low protection against many weapons doesn't cut it. Tundra is a pretty good paint because Rail is so very prominent. Don't buy paints for looks, unless the paint looks very cool lol (why I bought Electra, just is epic :D) .
