Hull kit is pretty much very useful overall cause you will be getting Hornet,Mammoth,Hunter and Viking all M2s, and if you get it then you won't be needing any hulls even if you rank quite a few ranks since you have most of the hulls already

If we assume that you have a good weapon already then surely go for it.

 

Thunder M1 is really good at your ranks so there is no problem getting it but later on after you rank up few times you may find that

there are many people having anti thunder paints so that might annoy you a little bit, but other than that it's good.

From what I hear thunder is a mediocre M3, but it's tempting to think that I may get it effectively 75% off if my team wins.

i would say rail M1 and hornet M1  and hull kit M2 (no hunter maybe viking because both will be gotten M2 in the hull kit)

 

thats a lot of crystals if you buy its okay otherwise lots of saving

Usually I'd say get one m3 over two m2s, but personally I think Rico m2 and fire m2 is the better choice

M3 over M2s, and especially since Freeze is so versatile. And even though Fire and Rico are considered OP now, who knows when they'll be nerfed.

So I don't have that many guns, only things like twins,rail gun,and freeze. My favourite gun is the shaft (I lost my other profile so I know what they are and do.) but I can't get it yet, number one is that I'm under leveled, second I don't have enough crystals. So what guns should I use until then? I mostly like fast and light hulls too. :)

Yes go ahead, but then there are lots of thunder protection paints. It is still great if you know how to use it.

I would go for railgun since it's good for low ranks.

Try Jaguar. Good protection against firebird, freeze, thunder which are commonly used around your rank.

They are both good, but it's quite hard to compare those weapons since they are very different

 

I personally prefer rail, but just go with what suits your style :)
