Depends on the range but honestly you can't think like that :p

 

For example, on island I could hit you with thunder with the splash so you couldn't even return fire

The impact force is nothing, really. Even Rico the impact force has been nerfed

 

Having your turret moved is only an issue with guns like Rico, twins and rail because there is a delay between pressing the space bar and he shot hitting the enemy

hey should i buy m1 smokey or should i save my crystals for m1 shaft? 
i like to camp so which one would be more effective?
i wanna say m1 shaft but i would like your guy's feedback on this before i make a choice.

If you were to use Smoky of course, that would be for short-mid range. But camping is recommended long-range, and Shaft is a long-range weapon.
