What to buy? Which is better?

Btw, I would like to get the "Heavy tank M2 kit" and the "Medium tank M2 kit when I am 1st Lieutenant. 

But I need M1's before I get there, otherwise it will take forever ranking. I don't think I should get M1 Ricochet, Thunder, Viking or Mammoth because that will be a waste of Crystals as I will be buying them in the M2 kit soon.

Hi, should i get m2 freeze over m1 railgun i'm really really good on both but i slightly prefer railgun and i don't wanna miss m2 freeze an m2 on my rank will be great i'm so confused :mellow:  :huh:  :blink: i Have m1 wasp m1 hornet m1 freeze m1 firebird m1 mammoth

Ok this question has been bothering me for so long its unbearable.

My garage (for those of u who dont know): freeze thunder hornet viking m2 everything else m1. Twins m0

I have 70k and will have 84k after i rank just enough to get m1 then m2 twins. This seems epic to use with my m2 viking and prodigi. BUT if i play hard and get 92k, i can get rico m2 AND rail m2. Then i will have 1 weapon m2 of every type. Let me explain:

Short-range (fire,freeze,isida):freeze

Plasma (twins,rico) : rico

Medium-caliber (smoky,thunder) : thunder

Long-range: (rail,shaft) : Rail

Btw, this is only if i get rail and rico. If i get twins ill still be stuck on the long range category but have 1 of evry other. What do u suggest? These are the maps i play in:

Silence

Sandbox(i like xp but im not gonna buy rail just for that)

Rio

Island

Farm( if i can find 1 thats not filled with gismos)

Stadium

Red Alert

Kungur (occasionally)

Desert

Seruphov

Basically medium sized maps to small sized maps amd i play a variety of gamemodes but enjoy CTF, CP and DM the most. Lol thats 3 out of 4....need advice from high rankers (kirby and blackopspaul i mean u!) and ppl who have twins,rico or rail. Tell me how good it is, if it would go well with hornet or viking (everythig goes well with viking :) and if it is worth the crystals. JEEZ that took ages to write on my phone

My advice would be this:

 

Don't overspend. Save, rank up fast, and get a good m2 or m3 kit.

 

You've got plenty, but still only buy in 50% sales, and only the things you need. You'll benefit in the future :)

So, which gun do you think is best? Smoky or Thunder? They both have their pro's and cons. Would you prefer a gun with a Critical hit or a gun with splash damage? Discuss down below :)

 

I'll start.

In my opinion Smoky is better than Thunder. I say this because the amount of damage is high, it has a fast reload, it can shoot at long distance and it gets Critical hit a lot, which deals a lot of damage. Thunder has a high amount of damage but has slower reload and has splash damage. This is good for hitting for than one enemy or trying to damage a hidden enemy, however, in close combat you can damage yourself because of the splash damage. This is just my opinion, post yours down below ;)

There really is no point of getting Hull Kit as all the hulls are already unlocked for your rank. Just buy the ones you like at a discount (I'm pretty sure there will be one in Tankman's day). Save for Light M3 kit, you won't regret it. ;) Edited August 27, 2014 by Endurance

The hull kit is about the same price as all four hulls on a 50% sale. And really you don't need all 4!

Thnx for the advice, but could u tell me why u ruled twins out? I find it the most annoying gun AND the second most OP gun after smoky so why rule it out? Also i really think i wont use rail anywhere at all apart from in xp battles so im not getting rail. Pros and cons of rico and twins? I just think (remember the think) that with its unlimited firing, twins with double damage would be able to destroy a defence whereas rico has to wait to load? Im just asking lots of questions now so i dont waste my crys when i buy which is what i did with lots of m1s.

Yay! I just realised that if i play hard i can get 2 m2s like:

Rico has the potential to be better on light and medium :) in the he next newspaper issue... I'll explain it ;)

 

If you are good Rico user, with a light/medium hull, you will more often than not beat a twins with a light or medium hull. Briefly, this is why. Rico has the potential for more damage, while it is shooting. Te downside is that it cannot shoot forever, as twins does. A heavier hull allows the use of twins' infinite firepower to full effect. So if you like light and medium hulls as you said, go for Rico in my opinion. It also has way better range and projectile speed.

 

Don't get mammoth, it's a big slow and fat, so unless you like playing island or the sort not that great. But, if you want twins anyway, mammoth twins is decent.

 

Fire is amazing. I only bought fire cause of the 70% (I had freeze didn't think I'd need it), and now I only use fire as short range. Isida might also be good, I find it a bit boring though.

 

Smoky is awesome.

So, I would take Rico now. And save up for smoky.

 

If you have enough crystals, I'd probably save them for m3s whihc would give you a nice headstart, but fire or rail probably wouldn't be terrible choices.

 

All your weapons would then go great on viking or even hornet. :)
