What to buy? Which is better?

I have two options, but I can only choose to go on one path.

 

First option: Buy Thunder M3. This will leave me with 40,000 crystals left. So far my only M3 is Isida. I'm doing fine with it, and find it both fun and something that makes me feel good whenever I keep my team alive, help capture flags, and annoying snipers that keep trying to take down a Mammoth when I'm hiding behind it. However, I think Thunder M3 would give me an alternative to a medium-long range playing style, something also very fun. I excel at both Thunder/Wasp, and can use Mammoth/Thunder. Both very good combinations.

 

Or the second option, which is to ignore this sale completely and rank up. Then I can get Hornet M3 as my first M3 Hull. I know I have my Wasp at M2, but I know for a fact how strong M3 Isida and M3 Hornet is. . . pretty much broken on drugs. Top it with a paint? You're king of CTF.

nah i suggest you either wait for a 50% off but in this situation you badly need it so i would say go for the paint

I ranked yesterday, and, with the bonus crystals reward, now I have 250.000 crystals. I have this hulls: Hornet M3 and Viking M3. And turrets: Isida M3, Freeze M3, Smoky M3, Thunder M3, Railgun M3, Twins M2, Ricochet M2, Firebird M2 and Shaft M2. Most of the time, I play with Smoky, Thunder and Isida. When attack, I use Hornet, and for defence, Viking.

The problem is, that I have only this stupid paint "Corrosion".

 

Was thinking to get "Picasso" at next 50% sale on paints. Or Ricochet M3, or Firebird M3 ? Or to buy a heavy hull ?

 

 

get a heavy hull which can be paired up with smoky or thunder m3.

You need a better paint, with your crystals left maybe a heavy hull like asifmak suggested, it would complete your garage nicely :)

don't drop ur plans as thunder m3 is not very effective at ur rank. At my rank its damn good but as i played with higher ranks i find nearly every player wearing 10-40% thunder protection paints

rico and fire both r must buy for ur rank so go for them.

edit : if u really intended to buy thunder than make sure u mu it 5-8 times in damage and reload

Dont drop them for thunder

Fire and rico are both amazing and thunder is nothing compared to them even when m4 (test server experience)

go for thunder m2 its devastating .

i bought shaft m2 long ago and now i thought it's such a waste of my crys and catching dust in my garage. it doesn't suits my style as i like to play cp alot. even in ctf matches in large maps like serpuhov i prefer my thunder over shaft

but since u r saying that u like to play in industrial zone, shaft is pretty effective as there are many camping spots. i hate those shafts which camps on those two towers :p placing mine in stairs very hard to kill.

overall

shaft m2: not versatile , limited to some maps , thumbs down from my side

thunder m2 :versatile effective mid-high range weapon, thumbs up

Always go for a combo first

You need protection against m3s so hornet or viking (depending on playing style) 

Thunder is really effective vs m2s but vs other m3s it is quite weak so IMO most other m3s are better

Firebird is OP and can be used on most maps well (its even good on stadium) and can still kill people with zeus and high protection paints thanks to its great burning time

Ricochet is good but only close combat as it takes time for plasma to reach the enemy so i dont really like it

Picassso is good if micro upgraded but id say wait for clay or zeus cause they are awesome microupgraded

hornet is a cheap m2 and useful so m1 would be a good investment

dictator is good m1 but viking way outplys it at m2 ans because you are getting into m2s you shoulb probably start saving for m2s

I have 8730 crystals.  I mostly play CTF and DM on Serpuhov and Rio.  I use Hunter-Rico for CTF and Viking-Rico for DM, and I like aggressive, attacking/midfield gameplay.  So what should I get, Smoky or Ricochet?

Buy ricochet m1 then get dictator m1 it's a good and a perfect combo !
