I recently looked at Hornet M3 again, and noticed it was 1.0 speed slower than Wasp M2. . . . .  . ..

UNACCEPTABLE!

 

Is the speed notice noticeable? I'll need someone with experience, not just looking at it and saying it's not due to just a number. Thanks.

 

All the other M3's are so many ranks away. :mellow:

 

(edit) Also, does anyone know how effective the BOAR kit works? Does the hull Dictator M2 and Ricochet M2 work at ranks 2-3 above mine? I'm pretty eager for a new combination with a big change, and a medium hull with a gun like Ricochet looks like it can fit the job well.

Ricochet looks like an extremely interesting gun nowadays. It works quite well in Silence - especially in the tunnel.

 

Funny thing today, a Ricochet/Viking M3 was dominating the tunnel in silence today, so I changed myself into Mammoth M2/ Isida M3 with Dragon paint and kicked him out of the tunnels for the rest of the game. :lol:

I have shaft, smoky (second favorite weapon), twins, freeze, firebird (preferred weapon), hornet (preferred hull), hunter, viking (second favorite hull) and mammoth m2

Smoky and shaft shouldnt be in the question as you are going into m2s they wont provide much

I used rail m1 until around major so that would be great with hornet wasp or hunter

Twins is best with mammy or titan either defending the cp or flag or drugging on a dm

Thunder is the most versatile veapon as it can be udes with heavy meduim or light hulls. I also used this up to around first leuitenant thene found it was getting weak up against the m2s

It all depends on your style but for all round thunder is. best but rail is a worthy compedator

You Not Have A Fast Hull To Suit With Isida.

Try Thunder With Mammoth/Viking And Rule The DMs

Or Try Buying Rico , It Will Work And Serve You Well For Your Viking.

Or Try Buying Shaft To Which Works With The Hulls You Have Well.

IMO Shaft Or Ricochet Or Any Light Hull M1

I have two options, but I can only choose to go on one path.

 

First option: Buy Thunder M3. This will leave me with 40,000 crystals left. So far my only M3 is Isida. I'm doing fine with it, and find it both fun and something that makes me feel good whenever I keep my team alive, help capture flags, and annoying snipers that keep trying to take down a Mammoth when I'm hiding behind it. However, I think Thunder M3 would give me an alternative to a medium-long range playing style, something also very fun. I excel at both Thunder/Wasp, and can use Mammoth/Thunder. Both very good combinations.

 

Or the second option, which is to ignore this sale completely and rank up. Then I can get Hornet M3 as my first M3 Hull. I know I have my Wasp at M2, but I know for a fact how strong M3 Isida and M3 Hornet is. . . pretty much broken on drugs. Top it with a paint? You're king of CTF.

A M3 combo is usually better than 2 M3 guns.

I ranked yesterday, and, with the bonus crystals reward, now I have 250.000 crystals. I have this hulls: Hornet M3 and Viking M3. And turrets: Isida M3, Freeze M3, Smoky M3, Thunder M3, Railgun M3, Twins M2, Ricochet M2, Firebird M2 and Shaft M2. Most of the time, I play with Smoky, Thunder and Isida. When attack, I use Hornet, and for defence, Viking.

The problem is, that I have only this stupid paint "Corrosion".

 

Was thinking to get "Picasso" at next 50% sale on paints. Or Ricochet M3, or Firebird M3 ? Or to buy a heavy hull ?

At your rank you should probably get a decent paint...

Firebird M3 is too many ranks away, so you could go for Isida M3 or Freeze M3 instead: but I would say Thunder.

 

The early Thunder M3 is a very nice weapon.

Micro-upgrading the damage and reload on the Thunder M3 is very effective.

At least go around one-third of these two MU steps.

 

Thunder is good and fun on your favourite hull the Hornet and IMO it is superb and very effective

at your second favourite hull the Viking.

Yes, Wasp M2 is worth it in a combo with the Isida M3.

Almost same HP as the Hornet, but more speed and a tight turner.

Which is great for latching onto your opponent, and also for ambushing.

Great combo!

 

If you want to continue with the Thunder M3 I would rather take the Hornet M2.

At Brigadier you get the Thunder M3 and just one rank later you already get the Hornet M3.

The Hornet M3 has very decent HP, which can be MU 'd to 210 HP.

The Wasp M3 arrives two ranks later than the Hornet M3 and can be MU 'd to 180 HP.

 

The Thunder, also because of possible self-damage, performs IMO better on the Hornet.

It 's still not a "thick of the fight" combo like the Viking can be, but if you have an active

and mobile style it can do very well.

Don't listen to this hy6 :P ThunderWasp is an amazing combo!!

You already have Rustle, so self damage isn't that big of an issue between Hornet and Wasp

If you really can 't choose it could well be the best option.

M2 Rail or M2 Thunder?

I have M2 Hornet and M2 Isida, my best paint is Tundra at 38 anti-rail.

 

exactly my combo! Recently bought thunder m2 in the discount. Surely thunder will not disappoint you. But my feeling is rail m2 is not good without drugs as there are so many paints for rail protection. Thunder m2 is amazing.

I don't trust Trom's judgement, simply because it leans towards parkouring - Thunder-Wasp seems to be more favorable for parkouring than Isida-Wasp.

dont get corrosion if you end up getting a paint

tundra is much better value for money and is valuable even at m3s

also railgun m1 took me up to major so its a really useful weapon

as much as i want thunder m3 i dint have m2 so it will cost alot more than i am willing to pay 

lets just hope there is a kit with hornet/viking and thunder in it
