Should I buy digital right now or wait and buy either irbis or emerald?? Railgun is proving to be a pain in battles and I only have python at the moment MU'd to 38% protection to freeze.

I have a question. I am on m1 level and I love attacking. I have smoky, firebird, isidia, and ricoshet all m1. I have wasp Titan and mammoth m1 as we'll. everything else is m0. Should I buy hornet m1, Viking m1, or dictator m1?

I'd suggest Viking. But if you play in big maps all the time and want to still stick with speed, then Hornet.

 

You have 1 light hull and 2 heavy hulls. A Medium Hull can let you break new grounds.

Make sure to not spend too much on M1's. You're going to need M2's in the future to keep up with others.

Hornet without a doubt. The other 2 arent allowed on XP and arent the greatest on CTF. 

Hornet also works well with your turrets and is a good starting m3 hull

After looking through the stats, I still can't decide between M2 Freeze or M2 Isida.

 

I know that both of these weapons, when combined with M2 Hornet, make effective attacking and flag capturing combinations.

 

Basic Statistics Of Each Weapon:

 

Damage Per Second (DPS):

 

M2 Freeze's DPS: 42.1

M2 Isida's DPS: 40.4

 

Reloading Time (RT):

 

M2 Freeze's RT: 12.1 seconds

M2 Isida's RT: 11.1 seconds

 

Rotation Speed (RS):

 

M2 Freeze's RS: 132.5

M2 Isida's RS: 100.4

 

I feel that M2 Freeze's freezing ability really compliments M2 Hornet's drifting ability. Obviously, it can't heal anyone. But accounting for kills might be easier, as I know how to circle and dodge very well. That might be useful for capturing flags. It also has great rotation speed, so containing people and circling will be very easy. Its reload time might let me down, and it has a fairly low DPS. Besides that, I feel that it really complements my gameplay. But, I feel the rarity of this weapon is because it just isn't good.

 

 

M2 Isida gains XP faster, and in turn, gets more crystals (since crystal boxes were removed). Also, it's DPS almost mirrors M2 Freeze's DPS and has a faster reloading time by exactly 1 second. And, even better, it can heal people, which helps your team win and keeps other players alive. That sounds awesome in my mind. Since I'm a flag capturer though, I'm not sure it has much to offer to M2 Hornet as M2 Freeze does. And, on top of that, many more people use M2 Isida over M2 Freeze, so that means more people use Isida protection paints. Can M2 Isida overcome that? I'm not sure. I feel that Isida might be more of all-around attack weapon, not solely a flag capturing weapon, like M2 Freeze. Isida does get you a lot of extra XP, and that is certainly very, very useful. But I'm not sure that is totally necessary for me.

 

Another Point: Almost no one uses Freeze protection paints (even at Coloneal!). Many more people (though still a fairly small amount) use Isida protection paints. I'm glad everyone uses Railgun or Thunder protection paints at this rank. :lol:

 

Luckily, even though I don't buy crystals, price isn't an issue with either of these turrets.

And I've got to say, I totally underestimated Viking M2. It's amazing!

Kind of good thing I did not choose Hornet, since the 166 HP is not enough. . . .And I was too used to Wasp.

 

I'm going to choose not to buy Emerald paint. The thing is, Railguns annoy me much more, especially when they drug. Without Railgun paint, those guys are going to OHKO me. Besides, I already know the Thunder-mentality and can verse against other Thunders quite comfortably already.

 

Which leaves me with 84,000 crystals. If anything, Ricochet is the biggest threat to me with Viking's larger size and Ricochet's damage. But I'm not going to "downgrade" in paints to use Spark. ..Closest thing is Hohloma with 20% Ricochet protection, but whatever. Railgun paint is most important.

 

And I can save up for things like if perhaps I'd like to go with Machine Gun. In which I can earn more crystals and perhaps get it to M3 on a big sale. If Machine Gun happens to have infinite range, then it's a MUST-HAVE gun for me. Or I can automatically M3 my Viking once I rank up.

 

The only possible thing that would've made me even happier would be M3'ing my Freeze. The Freeze/Viking combination is absolutely perfect for maps like Noise, Silence, and the like. However, I guess M2 Freeze is still viable. :D

Especially with all those nasty Druggers around.

 

So 84,000 crystals left. I'm planning on saving them for Machine Gun or M3 Viking, but do you think it is better off spent on MU'ing?

It's 50% off on the initial MU price, and an 80% off on Speed-ups.

Pardon my ignorance then. As you have a lot of time, you can just play with the respective m1's and figure out the gameplay that you prefer.

Although using isida makes you a teamplayer and is kind of an easy gameplay which will help you score easily in any match, you will be able to easily hang around higher ranks than you as everyone loves isidas.

But your main task would be to always heal and complement your teammates rather than be the first of the attackers. A comepletely contrasting story while drugging though.

 

Freeze is generally considered inferior to firebird after the recent update now because of the reduced freezing time and firebird's afterburn. But it will help you be a good attacker and the abiliy to attack multiple tanks is a big plus freeze has over isida.

If you play XP/BP then wasp would be the better option. It isnt that must worse then Wasp m3 so you can use it still.

I did much the same as you. I bought Thunder M3 and Viking M2. However, I also bought Hornet M3 instead of my other option which was Savanna, not Emerald. I have already got Rustle, so Emerald would have been a waste at this point in time. I was only looking at Savanna for it's Smoky 40% protection. I now have only 13,000 crystals left, and I am going to use them to MU my Isida and Thunder. Which are both M3, just like you have!  :D

 

I would save for M3 Viking, which I will get as soon as I can. I also am planning on getting Rail M3 ASAP too, which is fine because Viking and Rail each unlock their M3's in the next two ranks for me!

I had a hard time deciding too, but with M3. I think they're both good, different type of gameplay. I went for Is I myself, and it's alright at base m3. But it looks from statistics as though it gets much stronger to m4, so I'm looking forward!
