This guy is right. In my experience, Freeze is a tremendous defensive weapon, and a great asset to the team. If I were in your treads I would grab Freeze and upgrade it as you progress, but keep in mind sales will allow you to get more of what you want for a lot cheaper price.

@Nimit: There are medium ranged weapons such as Twins, Ricochet, Thunder, or even Smoky.

Or you can maybe wait for Machine Gun. :P

The M2 Firebird is about as powerful as an M3 Freeze or Isida (save the healing), so it is a good choice. The M2 Shaft is a lot more powerful than M1 Shaft, so it is a good choice too.

 

With all dure respect, I do not think it is a good choice to go with a new mid-range turret unless you seriously want to change your playing style.

Firebird is best out of all of those. Great damage and better specs. Shaft isn't that great as damage is quite low. Its not great on most maps and you can't really get into the action. I got it and rarely use it. On the other hand Fire has been really useful to me and is still a powerful weapon at this rank.

You wouldn't be capable of giving me such advice, because you didn't know that I already have both light hulls and a medium hull. You found that out because Tiger, someone who knows my garage, pointed it out.

I asked the question because I was skeptical on whether I should have a light, medium and heavy, or have two light and two medium, garnished by a medium-heavy at Generalissimo.

 

Though Titan's awesome, come to think of it, I'm not really in situations where I will need such bulk (the occasional Island CP/Farm CTF) - I think I'll go for Hunter first, then Titan later.

and the D/L is cause of the hiding and killing nature of shaft :P

 

any ways, youd better play with whatever you like and enjoy best, so

For beginners i recommend Hummer and Hornet
 

its very legit, Light hull with medium speed and decent armor. In combination with hummer which is great for close range battles and can kill wasp/Hornet in 2 close range shots. With this combination you can make some awesome score.

But thats just my opinion. at the end it all depends on your skills and on your playing style.

Well,wasp needs great skill to use,if you know how tocontroll it And dodge people at the same time,its a must for you :)

 

Shaft is needed if you are fast and accurate enough for even hitting the fastest targets and if your willing to MU it to 260 damage

 

Freeze,ahhh,i dont like this gun so no comments :(

M3 Shaft and Freeze are yet again totally different weapons, so you should choose according to your favorite maps.

 

Freeze works pretty good on light hulls, to compensate for the short range. Shaft is a camping weapon that will work good with a medium (preferably Viking, judging from my own experience) or Heavy hull.

I and some of my friends sometimes camp but mostly rush, and you really cant camp at sand DM xD

You have got to be one of the only ones who uses shaft in a small map. Shaft is mainly a camping weapon  but some people (like myself) like to move around with it.
