What to buy? Which is better?

Should I get Holomha or Digital? I don't have a good Freeze paint or any Smoky. I'm currently using Tundra on my Wasp. The odd Shaft here and there gets me, but not too bad. I'm planning on getting M3 Thunder, then Emerald (Prodigy later on. I mean it's a Wasp's dream paint!}.

This is a bit redundant (translation: incredibly), but I plan to get four and ONLY four things from this list.

 

Thunder M3, Smoky M2, Wasp M2, Titan M2, Twins M2, Firebird M2, and Hammer M2

 

After that list, I will definitely get M3 Hunter, and whatever I get M2 will become and M3 with the exception of my M2 Thunder if I do not choose to do so. I currently own M2 Thunder, M2 Thunder, M1 Smoky, M1 Firebird, M1 Wasp and have ~150k cry atm. (Once i get this answered, I'm just going to find some way to preserve the replies, so the answering sessions can cease, sorry if this has the high ranks much pain and anguish, i really don't want to get a bad garage)

M2 Smoky is a true nightmare for your opponents regardless of the map or what hull they're using, so I'd recommend that. While M2 Shaft is just as great (well, if you really like Shaft), it's more limited in terms of use.

 

Mostly up to you. If you enjoy Shafting more than front line combat, maybe M2 Shaft's for you. If you like making your opponents explode at close to medium range, M2 Smoky fits the bill.

You have got to be one of the only ones who uses shaft in a small map. Shaft is mainly a camping weapon  but some people (like myself) like to move around with it.

It really depends on your playing style. If you play small maps then Hammer would be much better as its range is really limited. On big maps thunder viking rules because of thunders high damage and long range. 

If you tend to play CTF I would recommend hammer if you defend or play round the middle and thunder if your more of an attacker. 

For DM and CP they both are awesome but thunder is a weapon that will perform at a range not close combat. Hammer will be better for face to face combat but the reload time is a big disadvantage. 

For TDM Hammer would be best as it deals high damage and spreads it out. The reload time shouldnt be a problem if you can fall back while its reloading.

Hornet - Railgun Would Be Nice Combo Or Thunder With Hornet/Viking .

You wouldn't be capable of giving me such advice, because you didn't know that I already have both light hulls and a medium hull. You found that out because Tiger, someone who knows my garage, pointed it out.

I asked the question because I was skeptical on whether I should have a light, medium and heavy, or have two light and two medium, garnished by a medium-heavy at Generalissimo.

 

Though Titan's awesome, come to think of it, I'm not really in situations where I will need such bulk (the occasional Island CP/Farm CTF) - I think I'll go for Hunter first, then Titan later.

That said, ideally when crystals is not a concern, you should have everything--fully MUed. Since you have survived for the long run without the heavy hull, you may last longer without it. I do not know how your finances are running, but did you consider saving for the M3 Dictator? I think it may be a better addition to your garage than the M3 Hunter. Even if you get the Hunter, the Dictator with a few thousand crystals worth of MUs, you can get its protection to that of the Titan, and it is a lot faster. That should satisfy your moderate need of bulk.

Hi! I have Freeze m2. I'm planning on saving up for a good m2 hull to go with it. I'm having a tough time choosing between Hornet, Dictator, and Mammoth, all of which I have at M1.

Hornet is good for speed and looks sexy with Freeze but it's essentially Railgun chow :lol:

Mammoth is great for health, great for tanking and defending but "your grandmother could beat it in a race"!

Dictator is right in between, I saw a M2 Rico + M2 Dictator the other day and he was scary strong :blink:  though my friends tell me it's too slow.

I asked in the lobby and a lot of people say M2 hornet is beast, but a lot of Generalissimos said to get M2 Dictator for its health. Nobody's told me anything about Mammoth yet but I appreciate its almost 300 HP! What should I choose? :wacko:

PS I prefer medum to small maps, cause I like to get to my enemies without having to drive 1000 miles (looking at YOU, Dusseldorf <_< )

I'd say to save up for Hunter. It unlocks at Capitan and is very stable, has somewhat good armor, and nice speed. It also has a much better shape than Dictator... DO NOT GET M2 HORNET, SAVE FOR M2 WASP!!!

I reckon M2 Rail+Hornet is the better option as Rail pairs really nicely with hornet. Also looking forward Dictator m3 unlocks at Generalissimo compared to Hornet at just Major General. You will also save alot of cry to spend on a nice paint or another turret.

 

Just incase, Always buy equipment when there is a sale on (just assuming you wouldn't of since there isnt a sale on now. )

I wouldnt agree with @denex12. Hornet is a great hull for a freeze user. Hunter is a good hull for your style but it isnt much over hornet IMO. Also m3 unlocks late and by then your hunter will be easily outclassed by hornet m3s. Wasp unlocks too late for you which is a shame. Dictator m2 is alright but it is a bit slow and viking easily beats it in specs. It also unlocks m3 late but some people have gone that far only with m2. Mammoth is way too slow and defending wont get you much xp or cry.

I'm just saying... Wasp is much, much better than Hornet, especially at M2. If you are a freeze user I guess it might be smart to get M2 Hornet, but I guess less rails are used at higher ranks? I don't know. Go with Hornet or Hunter.
