What to buy? Which is better?

Hi, the only upgrades I have had are Hornet and Firebird from M0 to M1, nothing else.

Now I'm thinking of upgrading Hornet from M1 to M2 + Isida and Ricochet from M0 to M1 ... or ... Hornet from M1 to M2 + Isida from M0 to M2.

 

I know taste is in the eyes of the beholder, but I like the look of Isida M1 the best, but dislike the look of M2 a lot. The question would be, does the extra performance of Isida M2 over M1 justify Ricochet to be waived?

I suggest you to get hornet m2 and iside m2, because m2 is more stronger than m1, and it is pointless to have 2 gun m1 at your rank, it's better to go for m2 :)

No way! It's OP at that rank keeping in mind it earns you more experience so you get more crystals (during rank-ups). However, I am for saving crystals !

What do you mean about talking about clan wars? CW is way too far for you. You better purchase everything m0 and then think about clan wars :lol: No offense

I'm still a noob but I do like Smokey. However, I have the feeling Smokey is underpowered. Usually it takes 4 to 5 hits in order to destroy an enemy without shield. His range is bigger than Firebird's but I am far more successful with Firebird at close range. After upgrading my favourite weapons Isida and Ricochet I might focus on Smokey (Firebird & Freeze are ugly ****es lol), but I'm still unsure about his performance even when upgraded. Hopefully someone with more experience will respond.

Vulcan was very fun to use and effective on the test server, so I've been wanting to get it for a while. I'd like Digital since I want a camouflage paint with good protections for summer maps. I can't afford getting both. I'm thinking of dropping Digital for now, since I'm going to be using it in conjunction with my Shaft, which is currently M1. I'm only going to be sniping often once I get M2 Shaft, something that's not going to happen for a while. I also have Tundra already, making Digital less necessary.

 

Any thoughts?

You can just MU Tundra a bit on March 8, to the point that it is better than Tundra. I'd suggest going for Vulcan M2, and then getting some MUs on your Tundra.

You seem well prepared for medium and long range turrets. A paint protecting against short range turrets would be ideal, but I think 3 paints is a bit too much. 

If you have to, I would probably go with Jaguar; it offers great Freeze protection, and some decent Firebird protection too.

ok now i got even a more confusing problem so i thought it was all fine and dandy getting hammer m2 but then i realized i might not be able to get the cry needed on sale (need 52k more if i go from m0 to m2 hammer) so i was thinking my current m1s are rail fire freeze shaft smoky viking mamy and titan but i dont really like rail freeze or heavy hulls like mammy and titan so i was thinking get a m0 to a m2  but the question is which one? i really like the gameplay of hammer and thunder and dictator and hunter hammer and thunder are both 110k+ fromm m0 to m2 and hunter and hammer are around 80-90k maybe a bit more affordable and i could get a paint or another m1 because i heard thunder m1 is good still so im thinking of getting dictator/hunter m2 and if i have enough extra maybe m1 twins, or thunder/hammer what you guys think i already have hornet and isidia m2 and isida works well with dictator and hunter so and hornet will help with thunder so im leaning towards thunder m1 or m2 or just go for another m2 hull since i ahve so many m1s probably confusing my self more typing this

Ah, good to know. However, when I get to near-end game, what paint should I get? Or will those paints last forever if MUed fully?

At higher ranks, Prodigi is a great choice against Railgun. Against shorter ranged turrets, Inferno is the way to go. Against Thunder, Emerald is your best bet.

No need of creating new accounts at low rank. You must reach at least [rank'13'] to get more experience about the game and not to do new mistakes. There is no reason of discussing what turrets you should get. It's more important when you're picking up m1s-m2s and m0 are way too cheap to make discussions. Just buy which you like for looking good. ;)

But it seems all are balanced at M4 stats. I have been to some higher rank matches, and it seems to me that all weapons are possible. I'm actually lackin. M3s... I have been using only M2s and I was hoping that a M4 jackhammer/medic/refrigerator kit would improve scores. I might have gone for other m3s but I must play like mad...Even if 24 hours. Smoky and Firebird Definitly but if you get to brigadier get Isida or Thunder m3 instead
