What to buy? Which is better?

When I get m2 railgun during sale, I won't have enough for m2 hornet. Should I get m1 hunter or viking

I need help; save up for MAGMA paint and INVADER paint or wait till i get M1 Railgun ( I bought M1 dictator first and SAFARI)

Get Rail m1. Those paints arent needed yet and if you really want them they are cheaper than Rail

 

Should I buy Rail M2 or Thunder M2 for long range battles with Hornet M2 and Hunter M2 with Corrosion paint?

Thunder works really well with Hunter and Hornet and You have protection from self damage with Corrision.
Get that or wait and get the M3 Thunder - M2 Mammy kit

 

Railgun M3 or Hammer M3 what to invest in?

Long way away but if your thinking m2-m3 i wouldnt get either as both are really common therefor more protection paints. If those two are the only options then get Hammer

Viking
Hunter is Super Expensive and isnt all its cracked up to be.
You could just save cry for hornet m2 in another sale

 

WHICH IS BETTER THUNDER, RAIL OR HAMMER WITH HORNET AND VIKING........
I USUALLY PLAY IN BIG AND MID MAPS

Thunder is awesome and works well with those two hulls
Rail is good but over used and lots of tundras/digitals
Hammer is prob best as high damage but again over used so there will be alot of hammer protections

Go with Thunder

 

What shall i buy in may sale?
Then i have problaby 200K +\-.
My only m2 is freeze.
Favoriete maps: noise CTF and polygon CP.
Favorite combo: viking m1 with freeze m2 and for noise isida m1 with hornet M1.

Viking, Firebird and Smoky. Then save for some M3's

They have the same damage, but the Isida has self-healing, in one-on-one close range, Isida wins every time (same everything else).

Its short range but if you face someone good enough they can get away and kill the isida

I does have more damage but self heal does help isi

When you compare two tanks, you don't assume one side is a noob and the other side is a pro. Everything else has to be equal.

Thunder. Ricochet is better but you can upgrade thunder to m3 at lower rank!

Go For Graffii Or Zeus , Perfect For Your Combo .

Graffti is really good, but the other protections not so much. However it does help against 2-3 enemy Vulcans in the other team. Zeus helps with the burning/self damage overheat.

Prodigi helps i guess with railgunners so why not, but on the other hand i think shaft is the most annoying weapon ever so i recommend PRODIGI or JADE take your pick (maybe africa because it has a nice rage of protection, but no so much.)

 Shaft is not annoying after TO made its aim out of whack :P Besides, it's not that common at Polygon. What's more annoying are railgunners through. They come up with a Double power and destroy the entire Mammoth tank without Rail protection paint..And they always hit me when I'm firing on a group of tanks. -_- :ph34r:

 

There are alot of Fire, Freezes and Smokys on Poly so Zues would be great

Get a protection against the turret that annoys you most (Rail - Prod , Thunder - Emerald) 

And also the occasional Isida, but not that much of a serious problem. I find thunder and rails to be a bit more problematic when they start to hide from aim.

africa and taiga

Taiga is an interesting mix, usually for close range - Isida, Twins, Fire and Rico. But wouldn't Lumberjack be more better with Fire,Freeze, Isida and Vulcan? This one I have got to think it through. I have to agree that Africa is a nice mix through.

 

From responses, it seem Zeus and Africa are most common. 

 

My best guess to buy in the next sale for paints would be:

Zeus

[some unknown paint against Rails/Thunder]

 

But now I have to decide which is the best paint to fight Railgunners & Thunderers:

 

--> Prodigi, Clay or none at all since I got Africa ?(I have gotten Emerald early due to many Thunders in early M3 ranks. :ph34r: )

Also on Graffti - Is this really good for Mammy M3, Vulcan M3 combo? Hmm......

Go for rail if you want to be a typical TO player (TBH, I love killing XP players with my hammer

As they are way too easy ;)

 

I suggest going for hammer, but before that, please tell us your playing style :)

Well if you play small-medium maps pick Hammer or Rico,smoky wrks too

If you play Medium maps,pick thunder,Rail,smoky

And for large maps,pick rail :) thunder works well too but its damage is range depended ")

Also yesterday I saw a M1 rail try to kill my mammoth M2 which had my 37% Tundra on,

yes sure , but upgrading m2 ( fully upgrading ) wont be a advantage cause you will soon or later buy an m3.

i prefer to upgrade little bit the m2 gun/turret and then after  buying the m3 i fully micro upgrade it.

I used to MU like 3-4 times where the price was good for the upgrade.
