I would suggest Rustle. Using short range weapons, you will often encounter Thunders which have a really annoying splash damage. Since you will also be using thunder, it will help you survive short range duels.

Thunder for me. Freeze is rather boring in my opinion. Hammer hits a lot, but reloads quite slowly after 3 fast shots while you're relatively close to your opponents due to the range of this weapon. Thunder can cause self-destruct, but you can kill enemies from far away. It has a great range. Even though the splash damage has been decreased, it's still very useful.

Digital:

This paint offers a nice Railgun protection, but that's it. The 10% Shaft and 13% Smoky are not really worth the crystals, so I'd already eliminate this paint.

 

Spark:

You are given a great protection from a very fearsome, powerful weapon, Ricochet. Firebird is a dangerous weapon as well, so some protection always comes in handy. 15% isn't so much, but it's already (a bit) noticeable. The 10% Twins protection isn't really noticeable. 

 

Rustle:

Thunder really is a very powerful turret since the new balance. It deals massive damage. The 32% protection is really welcome. Freezes can be quite irritating and they do hit much too, so the 20% Freeze protection is a big positive point as well. 10% protection from Isida is not that much, but it's something. :p 

 

If I were you, I wouldn't buy Digital for sure. It's rarely/never used by players with high ranks. I'd base my choice between Spark and Rustle on what weapons are annoying me the most in battles or are most commonly used.

I've already answered this in another topic, so I'll just repost my post in case you didn't see it in the other topic. :)

 

 

"I'd go for choice 1. Freeze is a rather boring weapon if u use it on a medium/heavy hull in my opinion. The speed of light hulls makes freeze an enjoyable weapon for me, but on Viking it's rather boring. I suggest you not to buy paints inside 100k. It's better to spend some more crystals to paints with a decent, useful protection than spending less crystals on paints you wish you didn't buy because they don't offer enough protection in battles.

Thunder m3 is a great weapon in my opinion and fits perfectly on Viking m3.

2. Viking M3 and Shaft M3

5. Prodigi and Shaft M3

6. Prodigi and Railgun M3

Option one sounds like some fun :p

 

Sont get shaft imo, rarely used weapon, limited usefulness imo. Viking m3 is a great hull, needs MUs. Smoky, hammer and Railgun you suggested are all very nice turrets.

 

Seeing your garage, I would focus some crystals on that MU sale doing your current m3. Thunder in particular gets much much stronger at m3 with MUs. Then, I would save some for a possible 50% cut on Tanki's birthday, when you can get viking m3, or hunter m3 for your isida/thunder.

Guys so here is my plan

So after a lot of thinking i have decided to get the boar kit!

first of alli have THUNDER,ISIDA,HORNET m2.

I am a xp player and a clans co leader and participate in clan wars etc.

SO the boar kit has ricochet m2,dictator m2,and sandstone paint.

The reason i have decided to get it because i need a strong hull to go with my thunder m2.And why rico m2?...well cuz its op!

Both of them will serve me well in the long run.

I have rico and dictator m0 and if i buy like both of them + fracture paint for xp matches on 50% sale it will cost me about 135k.

But this kit will be there till the 25% off on turrents and then after that it will cost me 143k instead of 167k crystals.

So basically i will get this combo and a xp paint with a thunder protection also for just like 9k more of what if i buy them saperately on 50% off.

And also i will micro upgrade my sandstone,dictator and rico on the MUs sale so that i get a decent railgun and thunder protection on sandstone hopefully because i cant take the self damage of thunder anymore :/

I also prefer dictator m2 over viking m2 because dictator m2 micro upgrades are very cheap and i will be able to micro upgrade its health to more 20 hp more..that is like more than viking m3s hp (260),and also it is the best for catching golds :P

SO what do u guys think?..lemme know :)

Find out your playing style and choose maps wisely. Choose something that earns the most crystals :)

There are three play styles: Offense, Defense, and Support

 

Offense - typically nets you more kills/flag captures, therefore more exp/crystals

Defense - more likely that your team will win the match, resulting in a larger share of the battle fund for you

Support - keeps your OP (sometimes :P ) teammates alive by providing cover fire or healing them so that they can kill enemies/capture the flag more, resulting in an increased chance your team will win and you getting a larger share of the fund.

 

good Offensive weapons - Firebird, Freeze, Hammer, Railgun, Thunder, Ricochet

good Defensive weapons - Freeze, Vulcan, Smoky, Shaft, Hammer

good Support weapons - Isida (duh), Shaft, Railgun, Thunder, Smoky, Vulcan, Ricochet

 

The list of weapons above is by no means complete/comprehensive, but it is a quick look at my personal views of the weapons.

 

As L.I.B.E.R.A.T.O.R said above, even with a good turret/hull combo, selecting the right map for that combo is also really important.

Damage is always first for Thunder. After that, I would suggest Range, and then maybe Reload time.
