No MUs ever for now , When you go to the next modifications , lets say m2 , the MUs disappear , MU in M3s

That is gonna change soon...as said in the V-Log.

I think he should, because the MUs will be worth it, though I advise you to buy a medium hull like Hunter.

I would like to get a good capping streak at the same time, hornet slows me downs and medium hulls except dictator, because of vantage point, makes me feel limited

Which paint is better Inferno or emerald.If you use hornet or hunter then i suggest emerald so thunder users cant two shot you easily.Anything above use inferno.

there is so many interesting things to do with Rico! I suggest get it. fire is very good, but if a freeze or isida comes, then your all afterburn is lost. I use fire m2 as my main now, but it's essentially a suicidal gun. smoky is also very good, but not sure of it after rebalance. and thunder is now excellent but it is some sort of mass killer. this is my extremely personal opinion based on my very limited experience, but I don't like blunt mass killers like twins, for example. they lack the finesse of smoky or rail or Rico, IMO Edited May 9, 2015 by fluctuation123

Which plan should I go with? 

Original plan: Wait until June 4th for the 50% sale and buy everything on my list of M1's that I want if I can reach WO4 by then (M1 Hornet, M1 Hunter, M1 Hammer, M1 Thunder, M1 Railgun and maybe a paint if I have some crystals left over.)  

This plan gives me a gun for all ranges and two good hulls, but the flaw with this plan is that i'm not sure if i'll be able to survive with M0's all the way up until June 4th.

New plan: Buy the Hero Kit which has M1 Rail, M1 Dictator and Pixel paint for 51512 crystals. If I buy the Hero Kit today it'll be cheaper then if I wait since Rail is 25% off today, and having M1 Rail at this rank where M0 hulls are still common would destroy everything, but is Dictator good in the upper ranks? The huge unlock gap between M2 and M3 looks like a problem but the stats look pretty good. The flaw with this plan is that it uses up almost all my crystals (I have 60K) for only one (awesome) combo.

I don't know what to pick, both of these plans sound awesome to me.

Hornet M2, a hull is more important than a paint. You can buy the paint later :)

Freeze/Fireif it is CP. Pick what you like if it is CTF. Thunder's splash damage has been cut down, but it's direct damage was increased, so I do not really recommend it. You are better off with Rico.

 

The only way Thunder can beat me is if I have Thunder too. :P It can't beat Rico, Isida, or Hammer ( similarly Fire and Freeze). I am not even sure it is better than Smoky, which I hate.

I would go on route 2 if I were you, Hive hasnt got real good % protectiom

and MUs dont change it much,

and it looks ugly
