Definitely not. You'll start needing an m3 around Lieutenant General, when you start playing matches, consistently, with Marshals and the such.

Okay, Bulldozer kit or Smoky and Hunter M3? I mostly play Polygon and Noise.

Even though Hunter is a total nub hull, (Viking FTW) 2 m3s are better than 1 m3. You really only need Emerald for splash damage unless you run into some camping Thunders.

Fully MUed Rico M2 is M3--very soon. It should be good. Although I suggest having another M3 turret at least along with it.

Hohloma is actually a nice paint for around that rank, I RUN when I see one of those turrets it has

How long can Fire M2 last? I mean I have seen people using it even at 2-3 stars... but when it will be UP ? I want to get that kit while I MU Rico-Dictator M2...

When you buy a kit you ALWAYS should use the multing technique. Join a battle, with in my case hunter fire m0, and buy the kit mid way thru the match once everyone tries to report you :D

I have to gather crystals first before buying. ;) Take over matches is a fun thing to do. I have done it 3 mins ago. :ph34r:

Unfortunately no one cares about mults in our ranks, yet, so that wouldn't work lol. Some people are still using M0s at our ranks...

 

Meanwhile, I have to decide between bulldozer and firewall.

For me, I had a hard time deciding because I like firewall but I also like Emerald paint. In the early star ranks there would be so many thunders around... Is it possible to survive without Anti- Thunder paint?

I survived till General (which I bought Medic (20% thunder)

with the 5% thunder of Alien, so why not :)

Depends on your playing style. But one thing remains; don't MU M0's.

Good thing you told me that now because i have already spent 3000 Crystals on MU my M0 hammer  :(

the reload time is alot better then before though now that i upgraded it once!

Why don't you workout the numbers assuming 50% discount? The sale will not have the turret and hull discounts overlap as far as I know, so you will not get a kit at 1/4 price, so any sale is hard to compete with a kit. I would not wait for a few weeks to save 50k crystals, because I can easily earn much more with better equipment.
