The 'best' turret is highly dependent on the occasions where it is used. ;)

I heard there was gonna be a sale on July 4th, if that's true then I was thinking about buying Spark and Corrosion paints:

Spark: 15% Firebird, 10% Twins, 33% Ricochet
Corrosion: 10% Railgun, 15% Thunder, 15% Shaft

I have around 70k crystals which is enough to buy both on a sale, but will these paints hold at higher ranks or will they be outclassed? If I can't rank up to Captain by July 4th for Spark then i'll just get Corrosion unless it's not worth it.

Another question; If I play everyday until the Tanker's day sale in September, will it be possible for me to reach Brigadier for Thunder M3 or is that too far away?

Spark:- Nice for small and medium maps like polygon.

Corrosion:- Good for large maps like serpuhov.

Don't buy hammer,you already have thunder m3..go for freeze m3.But i will suggest you firebird.About paints,i say nano (according the maps you play).

Both are nice thunder is easier to use + splash damage is awesome + its versatile can be used on almost any map.

I think you are good on turret and hull you should save for M4 thunder+viking after that think about buying other m3's

M1 Hunter, M1 Twins or M2 Freeze?

I"m kinda leaning towards Hunter, but I'm not sure :huh:

 

My garage: M1 Ricochet, Freeze, and VIking, the rest M0, and the Dragon, Swamp, Flora, Forester, Lead, Metallic, and In Love paints

I mostly play on Rio, Cross, Aleksandrovsk, and Polygon, though sometimes I play on other maps too

I think Railgun fits perfect on Hornet and Wasp, in other words, on a light hull. If you know how to use this combo, it's really deadly. Also Viking and Hammer are still fast enough to put Railgun on, but Hornet and Wasp are more appropriate in my opinion. 

 

Keep in mind that the use of Railgun in small maps is not recommended.

These paints won't hold at higher ranks, unless you're talking about Spark with some heavy micro-upgrades on it. Then it might still have a chance against the more expensive (and more protective) paints. In my opinion, buying Corrosion is not worth it. Actually buying any paint which doesn't offer enough protection to be useful at high ranks is a waste of crystals in my opinion. 

 

Let's say you've got about 200 000 points right now and you need about 600 000 points to get the rank of Brigadier. This means you'll need to earn about 400 000 points in about 70 days (a bit more, but let's take 70). This means you'll have to earn a bit less than 6 000 points each day which is reachable. :)

Difficult question! Both weapons are completely different, though both enormously powerful and fearful! If you look at the prices, Thunder is way less expensive and its m3 version is faster available. Ricochet is a medium range weapon, Thunder is more a long range weapon. It'll depend a bit on what weapon you think is the more enjoyable to play with. The maps you mostly play in might be decisive as well. It's up to you. For me, both weapons are nearly equally good, a slight preference for Ricochet.

I'd say 'no' too. Vortex won't be very useful in battles with a lot of high ranked players and Dictator is a bit too clumsy, unhandy, though great at catching golds, but this shouldn't have a priority.

Both Ricochet m3 and Firebird m3 are great weapons to face heavy hulls. The afterburn of Firebird is of course a great advantage as you'll still be hitting the hull while you're already dead or driving away to another prey, and you can burn several (heavy) hulls at once. Ricochet is great too, but you'll most probably have to reload while fighting 1 vs 1 against a heavy hull, which is a bit of an disadvantage. Though, with some micro-upgrades, this problem can be solved.

 

Hammer is a bit too weak to fight 1 vs 1 against a heavy hull in my opinion. The time it takes to reload after you've fired three fast shots is a real disadvantages, however, when using it in polygon, you'll most likely not be the only one who's attacking the heavy hull. Hammer then is great to steal some kills. :D

I don't think there's an annual sale in July, though last Summer Holidays there were a lot of unexpected discounts. I think the sale on the 4th of July is just a rumor, TO can always surprise us though. :P

 

Ricochet is a very good choice I think. I've got Ricochet m1 on my alternative account and it's really OP. As for the hull, I think Ricochet fits most perfectly on Viking.

With Hornet as your hull, I'd say Railgun. Thunder, Smoky and Ricochet are to be used on a medium or heavy hull, at least that's what I'm experiencing. Maybe the maps you mostly play in modify the choice. Railgun in small maps is rather useless.   :P
