Twins M1 will assist you efficiently through the high ranks (say, third lieutenant till general). But Wasp M1? I don't think so. With the recoil that Twins has, you'll most likely end up flipping yourself over. Try Hornet instead. It's a pretty neat combination with Twins M1.

Go for M1 Railgun. It's a really good choice with M1 Hornet and you should get crystals and XP really fast. And if you go in for format battles.... all the better.

Don't save for m2s, collect crys for 1 or 2 more decent m1s like thunder or rail.

Saving for M2s is the best thing he can do,

Well, if XP is your thing then go for it! As the for only one turret... Smoky on M3 doesn't need MU's to compete. But, it's nice to have. Thunder, however, needs MU's to compete. But hey, the decision is yours to make. :)

What if I get M3 Hunter and MU it. Would I find more efficiency in mid and long range? It is highly versatile hull with good speed and armor.

As my current, main priority, this is what I really want: M3 Hunter, M3 Railgun, Prodigi, and M3 Twins. This is only because I play XP, Hill, Arena, Island, and Polygon like nobody's business. I found that I was making crystals the fastest on those maps.

But STATISTICALLY, which should I get first: Twins or Railgun?

I can easily win in XP matches with M2 Railgun, but I can also win regular short range matches with M2 Twins when necessary.

 

*(M2 Twins, M3 Viking) I can manage to get first place in a battle on RU 2, (M2 Railgun, M3 Hornet) but I can also manage 1-5th place in most Gen/Brig battles on RU x, y, z. That is why I ask what is worth the purchase for now. Anything may be vital or more efficient for what I do: Short range and Medium Range CP/CTF, XP varying at any map, and short-mid range Deathmatches for my SMP. A new combo for me may even be Isida M3-M4 with Hunter M3-M4 or Titan M3 depending on the map. I hear it's good for earning XP and crystals, but anything's possible. Pro Battles are my tempo :) since I don't like drugging.*

Be aware that I could be just as strong with a very protective hull. MU's on hulls may be the safe way out. Since I already have my Isida MU'ed, I may find it easier for players to distinguish my strong side while I'm still ranking up and saving for as much as I can. After all, upgrading hulls can make drastic differences..but what are your thoughts on this matter?

Twins generally needs a heavy hull, but can be used with wasp if one has enough experience in the game ;)

If you were an alt I would defienetly suggest Wasp-twins xD

 

But right now, as you seem to be new to the game, the best mid-fielder combo I can suggest u which can

I'm tempted to purchase vulcan on the sale but not sure advice pls vulcan or thunder, i have no long range weapons :/ only isida smoky twins and fire 1 med, 2 short and 1 short - medium i could get rail but u know what u guys think??? Like if yes dislike and suggest if no :? in the mean time i will continue to save up

I don't think you should get rail (m1 or m2?) because it doesn't do much damage. I have m1 rail and find that this is very true. (Unless you use drugs)

That is why there are format battles ;) So Rail can have fun while there are no other turrets or hulls than wasp/hornet and Rail.

Vulcan has an effective upto a certain point, after which it doesn't seem to work well enough, as I once noticed an enemy playing at Monte Carlo. Thunder deals a good amount of damage and it's later versions are worth buying. I find it a very frustrating turret to fight against sometimes. Just stay clear of its splash damage
