What to buy? Which is better?

Hello Guyz,

 

I have M2 Rail, M2 Hornet, M1 Hunter and  M1 Rico . The garage includes basic paints - Marine(15), Forester (15), Metallic(18), Lead(27) and Dragon(31). I like defending with Hunter+Rail under heavy attack or aggressive with Hornet+Rail/Rico if team defense is good.

 

I would be ranking up as Major shortly and now want to plan for purchasing paints at next sale. I was aiming for Rustle and hence did not make any paint purchases during last sale. But now it seems Freeze is no more a threat (will it make a come back in higher ranks ?) making Rustle the same as half priced Cedar.

 

My current threat assessment for Hornet is as follows - Thunder M2 > Isida M2 > Firebird M2> Rail M2. I could be having 90k-100k crystals at the time of next sale. Please let me know your thoughts on whether I should go for Rustle itself or get Cedar+Electra.

I'm confused whether I should get twins m2 or rico m2, with hunter m2, i'm I play alot on noise, highland, and silence, can yu guys please recommend which one will perform better along with hunter m2, and hopefully spark.

I suggest Rustle, as its a paint quite popular at your rank. Rustle is an awesome paint when dueling with full of Thunders map such as Polygon. The paint which has a protection of Isida, freeze and majority Thunder will definitely protect your tank well. But if you are willing to wait, there are better paints such as Cherry and Emerald unlock at higher rank. Maybe you should buy weapons first?

I also look at the other protection they offer,Loam protect from Rico,Thunder and Freeze aswell,while Urban From Firebird (only 5% tho),Isida and Rico,and these are also common enemies on the field

Come on, loam only offers 10% protection to other attacks besides fire. And you are facing heavily MUed Rico m2, or worse, isida m3 or thunder m3. You do think that 10% makes that much of a difference????? Storm is enough.

@ZAIDI79: Lol, unless you're wearing Thunder paint, your Hornet will get 1-shotted by Thunder anyway.

I always 1-shot every Hornet I see with my Thunder on DP unless they have Thunder paint. :)

In fact, now I use Smoky, but when I used my Thunder M3 I really noticed that from a relatively short distance, one DP shot would kill Hornet M2's with full health and decrease about 80% from Hornet M3's when they didn't wear Thunder paints.

Rustle nor the combination of Electra and Cedar can really convince me. Wait as long as possible with buying paints, because those basic paints you're mentioning are rather useless once you're facing opponents with higher ranks. Therefore Cedar and Electra won't be a good choice to spend crystals on. Rustle will be better I think. It's not the number of paints you have that counts, it's their protection.

Both are great weapons, though I've got a slight preference for Ricochet. :p

That is a bad plan because by then you should be at an M2 rank and you should get some M2 equipment (and you should have a lot more crystals).

All three turrets you mentioned are good with the hulls mentioned, but I'd recommend Smoky and Firebird M1. Don't buy paints at your rank, stay with the M0 paints for now till the M3 ranks. That means no Storm.

Smoky m1 and Firebird m1 seem like a great deal. I'd not go for Storm since those cheap paints are not effective enough anymore at higher ranks.
