I used Firebird m1 even into the lieutenant ranks. After that, I bought Isida m2, but still used Firebird for DM. I found it a great turret (I would win). I MU'd the reload speed to max, and about the first four in damage. Everything else was either nothing or 2-3 steps MU'd.

Right now i would say m3 wasp with m2 fire. But you could wait till next rank during the sale and buy m3 hammer/m3 wasp and get a m3 combo

Smoky is good in every M, and cause you already have firebird m1, I'd say go for smoky and firebird!

Smoky M1 is crap after WO2..

Also LordKnightmare buy Thunder or Rail earlier on not both since you aren't a buyer. 2 turrets and two hulls is fine. I recommend you Firebird, Thunder and hulls Wasp and Viking to go with it.

Yes, quite significantly. For instance, my freeze unleashes an M3.5 damage of 71 hp/sec. Firebird m3 is capped at 73 I believe for m4, however, that does not take into account the burning effect. So, when firebird m3 is attacking a tank it will put out 73 damage/sec plus the burning damage which is happening concurrently. Add that all up and its nearly 104 hp/sec!!! If I and a a guy with fire m2 go head to head with the same hulls, I will kill him and then I will die 2 seconds later from afterburn. In short m3 freeze is roughly equal to m2 firebird, so yes, its UP.

Well thats just base DPS. Remember firebird can fire for 5 seconds while freeze can fire for 9. If you run kamimaze into enemies and just use the high dps to kill them then you wont get far. You have to circle the enemies and get behind their turrets where they cant turn because you froze them.

IMO freeze is better than firebird againt everything but isida, hammer and firebird.

Very informative, I have enough for Freeze M3 and it seems fun to use but like what you and others said, Fire beats it by a lot.

Northerner has Vik M2 and Atlas has Titan M2.

Northerner has Winter paint and Atlas has Loam.

It depends on the maps you play on. Loam is a good paint and it will benefit you a lot because you will face a lot of firebirds. If you play in Polygon, then go for titan. If you play in noise and rio, then go for viking. Good Luck :)
