What to buy? Which is better?

Should I get:

- Isida m3

- Thunder m3

- Freeze m3

- Hammer m3

- Taiga

 

Freeze and Thunder would "save" me the most cry, since I have them at m0 and m1 respectively.

 

Is Taiga a good paint even with the somewhat low protections? What are your thoughts on Jade?

uh... You can't get Vulcan Or Ricochet M2 'till First Lieutenant... But if u are looking forward, get rico, A lot better when skilled at it.

Idk about Taiga but a gismo said this. Jade is pretty useless unless you play a lot of Rio Serpuhov Kungur and hate Shaft. Go for Isida (reliable for xp) and/or Hammer (heard it's good at M4). Both work well in Poly and Noise. Don't get Thunder or Freeze.

I'd say go for Firebird, M1 Smoky will only last a few ranks.

If anything get Storm, it's decent.

Stick with rustle paint, so skip the taiga. I have freeze, wouldn't recommend unless you have alot of saved up drugs in order to stay competitive. Hammer and Isida sound decent for you, I'd say Isida. Will pair well with the viking and gives you a strong combo for ranking quickly.

Save for a better m1 such as rico, hammer, or twins. In the mean time if you really want to get one, go firebird m1.

That's tough, but if you don't go for Prometheus, I recommend you only get Hammer or Twins and MU it. Better to have one turret MU'ed a decent amount than two turrets with little MUs. If you want Inferno get it, I guess, but you have Emerald which is good enough for Poly.

 

Edit: I would get Hammer + MU and Inferno. You have a nicely MUed Viking which fits perfectly with Hammer. Getting Prometheus isn't bad at all, but you'll probably end up using your Viking a lot more than your Hunter.

I don't have Hunter M2 or Viking M2, but both are hard to kill (Viking more than Hunter). As for kits, I guess it depends which one is out at the time.

Firebird m2 is excellent- I have it now, and I can top battles, and come second when versing Brigadiers, etc. (star ranks).

I'm not a fan of Railgun M2, but if you are really good with it, it works well (the same goes for other turrets). It cannot kill stock M2 Hornets with one hit alone, so you need multiple shots, which wastes time.

As for Twins, it is probably one of the best M2s. When I was at a lower rank, I found it impossible to win against this turret/kit, but nowadays I am an even match with Firebird/Hornet M2s. Twins still top the battle charts.

Hammer is great too; it gives a bit more range and you can one-shot-kill Hornets if you use double damage.

As for Isida, I wouldn't go for it unless you want something cheap, or will be buying a better turret with it.

 

Firebird, Twins and Hammer are all great. Everything depends on your style of play. If you are going for more than one M2, Isida is a nice secondary weapon. Otherwise, Isida alone limits your gameplay to team games (its damage isn't very good, and it is short-ranged). If you are buying a kit, then any of these are okay. If not, I'd go for Hornet M2 and a turret (preferably not Rail, but if that is your favourite, then go for it) during the upcoming sales. What you buy also depends on the maps you play on most, etc.

I just played a Poly CP up to  and there were around 7 players with Twins M3 (1st time I've seen this). I'm wondering, in Gismo Poly CP and in general, how much are Twins paints a problem (for Twins users, ofc)? 

When I have Rock and Titan M3 and Isida M3 (now I have it M4) and double armor equipped all at the same time, I hardly even notice that there are twins on the other team :)

I think that getting both Firebird M3 and Zeus several ranks before they normally unlock is almost too good to pass up if you could do it. I would say go for Prometheus, even if it means never using Hunter M3.

Guys if you are in the warrant officer 2-3 range I strongly encourage you to save for m1 twins. This awsome turrent can easily kill other tanks. In 15 minute match at polygon cp i scored over 1000 points in 15 minuted without drugging. I also killed over 50 tanks.Works well when paired with heavy hulls

well i have a different opinion its better to have 2 turrets  micro upgraded because if the other team is using a paint agianst 1 you cna use the other. the  2 turrets should be such that any 1 paint doesnt give good protection agaisnt both of them

Like the v-log said, firebird and twins protection is rare and they both do well in poly cp.

Mary, Carbon and In Love are a bit useless. Grab Storm, M1 Fire and Wasp and save for Shaft M1 since you like long range.

Do not buy Smoky M1 it is best at M2 and M3.

Vulcan on Hornet is a big No No.

 

Rail is good, and you can use it in a XP battle so I would go for Rail over the other 2

Anyway, for you the Mosquito kit will only be good of you want to play BP.

If you are looking at playing in XP battles, getting railgun and waiting till Major General to get Hornet M3 would be a better option.

Okay, thanks. Beforehand, I was only considering decent turrets; Railgun wasn't really one of the best. I didn't want it because of that reason, and a few others. Now, however, I don't mind as much about whether the turret is the best or not, because I have Firebird m2, which will last well into the M3 ranks. So, it has come down to Thunder, Railgun and (if by strange chance I happen to rank two times before Christmas) Smoky. I don't know if I would enjoy Smoky, but it is one of the better turrets. As for Thunder, I think it would be fun enough to use, but not enough damage, etc. When it comes to Rail, it cannot kill a stock Hornet m2 (second lightest hull, obviously) in one shot, so I guess I would need practice to become competent with it, especially when you consider the reload time.

I have pretty much outlined the bad points. I probably won't be getting Smoky, so it is really between the other two turrets.

 

I have 163k at this very moment, and will probably not be buying another hull until M3s (Hornet only). I like attacking best. Can everyone please give me their latest opinions? Please check my profile for more info. Thanks very much! :)

Most M3 kits are decent at brigadier, so if you have enough to get it definitly get it
