Out of my current equipment, what would you recommend for Polygon CP?

Fier Viking and Storm is beast in Poly CP

Freeze. It works better with your 2 hulls than Twins does, and is much more versatile

Should I get hunter if I have Viking?

No, they are quite similar. Viking is also better IMO, you will be wasting your crystals

If I were you, I'd wait until you could get a different M2. Freeze M2 doesn't last long before other M2s supersede it. You already have a few M1s, so wait until you can get M2 Isida, if you like short-range and Isida's healing role. If not, buy a slightly later M2, like Rico, Rail, or Hammer, if you could.

 

I guess you want to buy something during the sale. In that case, either turret would be an okay purchase (except soon afterwards you would be wanting something better). Pick the turret that suits the maps you like more. Both can work well if you use them well.

Does Dictator go with Firebird? I keep seeing that everywhere.

Not if you have M0 Dictator.

It is also easy for small hulls like Hornet or Wasp to avoid being hit by going really close to your hull. Viking is much better

Quick one, for sales

 

I don't think I can get enough probably for Hornet m3, unless I win the time upon a once contest, soooo,

 

Hornet m3 (if things work out)

 

Wasp m2 (IDK, is it good?)

 

Twins M2 (Seems pretty nooby to me, gonna buy a brick if I do buy this

 

Smoky m2 (Seems efficient whwen plays against em, but crippled in terms of stats)

Viking m2 (Might not be a good time to buy this but.....

I would totally disagree with what the other guy just said.I have all wasp twins and smoky at m2(although now I have m3 smoky.).I think wasp and hornet at totally different I always win in xp/bp up against m3 hornets since even m2 wasp has more speed than m4 hornet.(also if u like Monte Carlo u can jump I've the long gaps without nitro with m2 wasp.I wouldn't really recommend. Twins to you since it is not the right marsh for light hulls like hornet.however you should know that I have always noticed m2 smoky to be the best with every hull(being its user since captain rank.I bought atlas kit).if I were you I'd chose m2smoky from your given options.

But I strongly recommend leaving m2s from now and focus on getting m3 equipment.(I learnt that the hard way by buying 5 more m2s when I already had smoky m2 titan m2 and loam when I was colonel rank).believe me don't buy m2s .if you don't make enough for hornet m3 then don't buy m2s and keep saving up.maybe you will be able 2 get 2 or 3 m3 next sale or better yet.an m3 kit

Paladin is still great at Generalissimo, so no need to worry there :)

So here's the deal. Was planning to buy twins and hammer plus 120k worth of MU's on sale day. But Prometheus kit....... If I went that route I'd have to wait till it shows up after christmas as I don't have enough cry just yet. The thing is, I'd be playing almost exclusively Polygon CP, which I feel is better suited for my viking than hunter. Even if I almost never used the hunter m3, would it still be worth it for the fire m3 and Zues at my current rank?

Meh. I have freeze and manage a decent D/L (recently about 1.8-2.2) simply because I drug a fair amount in Poly battles. If you aren't cool with using drugs like crazy to stay competitive, then skip it. Without drugs, it is the equal to fire m2, and barely at that.

dude u are far beyong m1 stage. Get one of the good m2s as I give them

Twins m2

Firebird m2

Hammer m2

Thunder m2

If you buy Redneck, your Viking will pair beautifully with Ricochet M3 and Lumberjack.

If you get Prometheus, Hunter miiiiiight go well, but the fact that it looks ugly and has the stupid drift doesn't help much.

Go for any of these kits, they ought to help you ;)

And yes, I HATE Hunter.

Judging by the Tankers Day sale, you can't be sure about the percentage of sales. The devs gave a real shock to the players on Tankers Day :mellow:

But yeah, it is likely to be at least a 40% sale ;)

Regarding your alt, don't get Isida M1 on it. Trust me. It collected dust in my garage for at least a year. By the way, what's your name and rank? Maybe we can play together someday :p
