What to buy? Which is better?

I'm buying the Bulldozer kit during the turrets sale. The sale will lower its price to 130k (from 203k). I've got 240k right now, so I'll have 110k plus battle funds (5k?) after I buy it. Now, I'm considering paints.

Loam or Hohloma?

 

36% Firebird protection is great. As I'd be using my FB alongside the new Thunder, it'd still be relevant (Emerald mostly with Thunder, various paints for FB). The other 10% protections are not so relevant.

Hohloma, on the other hand, has two 20% protections and one 22% protection (Freeze, Rico, then Smoky). Would an all-round paint be better than Loam? As I'd use my Thunder a lot, I would play medium maps more than smaller ones, and as such would meet more tanks with Smoky and Rico. The Freeze would just be a bonus on top of that, as there aren't many Freezes around.

 

Both paints will cost about 56k-59k.

 

Could I hear opinions, please?

Honestly, as much as Loam would help you, my this point it will be pointless to get it as you won't encounter much Firess from your rank until about 5-7 ranks down the road, ence I find that it's of no use to go for Loam. Hohloma will be becoming really weak as you progress, so that won't help. Perhaps teh best choice would be like Urban, because of it's twins protection

Huntsman is better. You can have M3 hornet with it and Smoky M2 is pretty OP.

I wouldn't buy M2 Isida at your rank. Unless you are solely healing, you will find that it is really underpowered against other tanks (especially heavy hulls)

 

Although you don't have a heavy/medium hull, I'd go for Huntsman. Much better, and has an M3.

Have thought of my cituation with the sales and here are the options i've came up with:

1. prodigi and savanna, rest MUs

2.savanna or prodigi + thunder rest MUs

3. savanna or prodigi rest MUs

4. all to MUs

Why am i not spending more? the plan is: 1 kit before generalissimo, and if i spend all of my crystals now i don't have any moving space

I would have to skip possible MU sales or personal discounts, that i get before buying the kit.

Only 3 kit options on field-marhal i believe: Eyafjallajöfuvk, redneck and prometheus, and after field-marshal only the first.

If i'm lucky and get hunter or viking on personal discount, i'll def. go for it and then get the fat kit.

I do not find buying viking, wasp rail freeze or hammer wise atm since none of those really suit my garage or are on terrible discounts.

And twins... fuvk twins the gun is simper than the mind of Donald ducking Trump. :rolleyes:

But if you really hate Isida, then go for Electra.

Sandstone doesn't have sufficient protection and if you want 20% Rail then you could get Fracture...

Cedar is good for Thunder users, but after M1 (which you are already ahead of) you don't need it much  as a non-Thunder player IMO.

Inferno's Twins prot is puny and it has 30% Fire prot which is just 3 less than what Mars offers. Additionally Mars has 33% Hammer which you would occasionally need.

In short Mars is underrated and you should get it.

A wise man once propably said: "you won't get personal discounts on MUs, but on guns you will" 

You can't get MUs with kits. MU sales are rare, i would go for them instead of hammer.

While MUing remember: few items in large quantitys... you won't benefit from a MU here and there on every hull or paint.

Get mars :P

Let's compare them logically

Fire protection on inferno 30%-50%

Fire protection on mars 27%-31%

Without MUs the difference is insignifcant... but with MUs inferno is superior here

 

Where mars has 18-27% isida protection inferno has 12-23% twins protection

This comes down to which you concider a threath to you, but it's quite clear any good team has to have isida, twins... not so much

 

And lastly Mars has 33% hammer protection where inferno has 40% freeze, so let's be honest here: freeze is not that effective or common nowadays and both of these are upgradaple to 50%. Hammer is common and pretty effective... but 7% difference is to be noticed

 

Well those might have not been that convincing so let's look at their costs on the upcoming sale shall we: mars=79k inferno=103k

A 20k difference why dont we say we put that on MUs for mars... well the sale is 33% off MUs so you can't go even, but with 15k MUs mars would look like this= 30% firebird 20% isida and 37% hammer 95k total no speed-ups

 

To add up to this: lumberjack and zeus will later on outdo inferno, 23% twins < 45% isida and 15% vulcan or 50% smoky... nah.

Mars with fire 41% and hammer 50% prot in 1 paint might be handy. :)

Edit: forgot to mention mars is 40k cheaper to MU to full... and has 3 steps less sooo less speed-ups

How should I save for Atlas kit besides doing Polygon CPs? Its like 180k.. never had that much ever. Its gonna be hard.
