What to buy? Which is better?

Several people told me I should skip Hornet M2 and just keep saving for Atlas.

Would that be okay? Will I be able to go with my M1 Viking till Capt.?

I'm sure Vik M1 will last you till Capt, e.g. If you have M2 Isida/M1 Vik you should be fine.

 

Thanks again for your help. Somebody else suggested Tundra, so I'll see if I need it. Also, I don't find Hammers too irritating, unless they drug and I use Hornet.

The problem with Loam is that while it has high fire protection, it only has high fire protection. If you use Vulcan or you really really really hate Firebirds far above all other turrets then I guess you can get it. But really, I wouldn't buy it.

 

Holhoma has Freeze Smoky and Rico protection as far as I can remember. Not so good of a combination imo. I would just stick with Emerald and no other paint for now. If you feel the need to, maybe you could get Inferno later on. Emerald has been my main paint ever since Captain and it still is, and it has always been helpful, even the 10% Rail (trust me, the 10% rail has kept me alive in countless situations).

Fire and Thunder will be the top 2 most used turrets from Major to General, especially in Poly CP. Emerald is great, but if you play on small maps like Noise, Poly, Hill etc, I'd get Loam too. 

 

Or, you can spend those crystals on MUing your Thunder m3, cause its required. Thunder is one of the worst base m3s. 

 

Getting Loam, or MUing your Thunder, is ultimately your decision. Good luck! ;)

@ Whoever was asking about the 50% discount on hunter+10% personal discount.

 

Here is the math. Let x be the original price of Hunter. Applying the 10% discount, it is 90% of the total price. So that is (0.9)x.

 

Now, applying the 50% discount will give you (0.5)(0.9)x, which is (0.45)x. So, you will be getting Hunter at 45% of its original price. That is a 55% overall discount.

Can you please list your main account name. But I say go for fire and rico m3 because the last steps of those mu are very costly and it's more fun to have diverse amount of turrets. Moreover 33% is a little low in my opinion.

I would say isida, mainly because it pairs perfectly with your hornet and is relatively cheap. Isida is also a major xp earner!

I strongly considered it during the last sale. Honestly, I think it's a highly overlooked paint because some people don't like its visual appearance. But I think it looks fine and has great protection, especially for Poly CP. Btw that was for my marshal account.

Both good but twins is the perfect choice smokie is more for defending point and twins attacking for more xp and crystals hope that helped thomas
