What to buy? Which is better?

I would love to have Rock, but I now have Vulcan. The burn damage is bearable without protection, but it would be better to have some.

 

Should I change my shopping list from Rock to a paint with Fire protection? If so, should I get Mars or Inferno?

Mars or Inferno, either one. Both imo will later be replaced by Zeus if you're gonna use Vulcan a lot in the long run. If I were you I'd go for Mars since 1) 12% Twins isn't much and 2) Freeze isn't that popular

Taiga is the best Poly CP paint in the game other than Lumberjack and possibly Zeus. Throw 20/50 MU steps into it and you'll have no need to even think about another paint until well into gissimo. I talked to about 15-20 gissimos today about Poly CP. They said fire, rico, and isida were most common. Next tier was twins, freeze, hammer. If I had the cry to do it, I would, but sadly Tiaga is only 35% off and I'll have to wait.

I'm doing the same thing on my WO4 account. I'm hoping to rank twice and get the kit with hammer m2, hunter m2, and Atom. Hope it comes around in January because hanging on to and not spending my 150k cry is difficult!

I'd go for the paint, simply because it has such good protections from 2 of the most powerful turrets (Fire & Isida)

Besides, you already have a solid garage!

Also, Storm or Roger for Poly CP (high warrant officer/lieutenant)

Isida and storm as I don't find that many twins at that rank while firebird is very popular

Wait for atlas, kits are very op because you get them early and titan m2 is the best m2 hull and you get a wonderful paint loam

Spend the 100k on MUs. You have plenty of drugs to last until The Game and at least get consolation drug prizes.

I like inferno

Taiga if I were you. Looks kinda blah, but in some maps blending in is important. Inferno would be better if freeze wasn't do UP cuz no one uses it.

And yeah taiga should be good 30% from firebird 23% from twins 45% from isida and 30% from Rico (fully MUed of course)

I've played with gismos a few amount of times I did see Taiga a few times, so Imma assume it ain't too bad. You seem to be a fan of Fire in the battles we play in  :) So Taiga would fit. Although you definitely need MUs for it to be effective..

Buy taiga. The tyoe o hull dosent matter too much(i dont think) so it will always be the same effectivness unless of course nobkdy is useing any ofvthe weapons that it protects against. Not sure what rank it unlocks at, so the farther you are from its unlock rank, the more you will need to mu it to make it effective, although even without themu it wil still help a bit.

I honestly don't see a major problem with the paints you currently have. Of the ones listed though, I recommend Mars. IMO it's both better and cheaper than Nano and Tiaga. But Rock beats them all.  

You are a different story. You have M3 paint (picaso) but it is more for a map like rio not Poly CP. Maybe you could get Taiga. Although ppl say it is bad without MU it is still something.

Considering your hull choice, Rock seems to me arbitrary, so might a Suggest something like Inferno?, your primary enemies will be freeze, cause everyone knows that Vulcan cant turn with freeze. Trust, me, you might need it. Although Mars's prtecritons partially compensate for it's looks, mars is not the best choice because its protections are limited, plus inferno defends more aginst fire.

hornet+rico is a beast combo especially in noise

Buy inferno, it is better in CP battles as there are a lot of firebirds and freezes ;)

90k is not a big amount for MU's. I say you complete the first MU's in smoky as it rocks at m4. Idk much about viking, but upgrading smoky is more useful and will get you more experience points easily :)

Last post before the paints sale:

I play on a variety of maps, all in CP or CTF. I recently bought Vulcan, so I think I need a Fire paint. My options with 140k to spend are:

1. Loam MU to 40% Fire, 12% Freeze, Thunder, Rico

2. Mars MU to 30% Fire, 20% Isida, 37% Hammer

3. Inferno MU to 35% Fire, 15% Twins, 43% Freeze

4. Taiga with no MU 20% Fire, 30% Isida, 20% Rico, 15% Twins

 

I will spend the remaining crystals on MUs to my turrets and hulls/drug kit (I have 0-0-0-100-100 :()

It does, but its quite hard for the same modifications, so rico m1 and Hornet m2 works nicer than rico and hornet m2
