Yes I am concerned about Fire paints like Storm cause it's dirt cheap and OP. I also have enough cry to buy Osaka (M2 Isida M1 Hunter Sakura) but while it's tempting I'll just get Isida on sale. As for Stinger, definitely obtainable, but I'll see about that; would rather have Hunter/Vik than Hornet to pair with Isida/Friz

I can understand wanting to live longer but unless you drug speed boost u will never catch anyone

I kinda regret getting Taiga; the only good thing about it is the 30% Isida. I think I'll buy "specialized" paints (40%-50%) from now on. For instance, I think it's better that I get Graffiti than Africa. Yes? No?

How many MU u currently got. You could Mu it if you want, not a bad idea here since you use Vulcan and Fire is common. I would just Mu storm a little if you plan on using Vulcan a lot in the long run. You can pick up Loam later on.

I use a variety of turrets and hulls, but Viking and Firebird is the most common one, thanks for the advice.

Yes, I believe so. Thunder protection honestly is not that common as it was when I was a lieutenant. I have an alt @BorussiaDortmund_BVB and I noticed that I see very little Cedars in battles Second Lieutenant and under. For low ranked warrant officer battles (Your rank until warrant officer 4 ish), Metalic is not very common

 

Edit: In the high ranked M2 battles (Captain - Colonel) I do not know if this is the case. Rustle unlocks at Major, and Emerald is available from the bulldozer kit at Lt Col. When I was that rank, I played a lot of Poly DM and Poly DM Colonel and under was dominated by Thunder/Twins + Mammoth, usually sporting Cedar or Rustle

You're probably better off asking someone whos rank is around Captain, cause things have changed (weapon balance) since I was at that rank. The best early M2 kit has to be Firewall (M2 Fire M2 Hunter). M2 Fire lasts you up to I would say General, and at Lieutenant rank where you still play with lots of warrants, M2 Fire is just murder. The best later M2 kit is either Minotaur (M2 Twins/Vik) or Northerner/Atlas, with M2 Smoky.

 

I won't go into the statistics of "damage per minute" or "shots to kill enemy", etc. because I don't believe those are reliable information to choose which turret to use. I have never used M1 Thunder (Only M2 and M3), but I would recommend M1 Thunder over M1 Vulcan. M1 Thunder along with Twins is one of the strongest M1s. Get Thunder M1 if you like playing DM or Poly CP, but make sure you get Cedar if you wish to use Thunder.

Best M2 kit is probably Tornado or Northener. 

It depends, Vulcan can constantly fire but you take damage after a while. I would recommend Thunder as it is still a great m2 and it is alot easier to learn, use and play with effectively when compared to Vulcan.

Yes I believe so. And don't get Hunter m2. Get Vik M3 (save for it); if you want Hunter you can get it M3 later on but there's no reason for you to be getting anything M2.

Yes, you lost the chance. You can always get another one randomly though so don't buy crystals until you do

MU'ing Taiga is essential yea, But if u still don't have Rock or Clay then u must buy it first, Then u can MU Taiga later-As Taiga is a perfect paint-

After getting Twins M1, if I don't die of old age first, should I go for a new paint or just MU Storm?

Storm has a decent protection-to-price ratio and it makes sense to upgrade it up to 24% of protection.

If you have a medium hull then 24% or 30% don't make much of a difference (calc the survival time, you will see it).

 

If you like Smokey/Titan, then there is a nice M2 kit (named Atlas) - and I tell you that, because it comes with Loam paint.

Don't get me wrong - I would not get Loam if I have storm already (instead I would save for more valuable stuff).. but _if_ you would like to have the smokey/Titan/M2 kit, then skip upgrading storm.

Thunder is a weapon with high damage per single shot. So some few percents more or less don't make a difference in the number of shots you can survive.

IMHO you should:

1) consider which hull you like to use the paint on

2) then Calculate how many shots you survive and how much health is left thereafter

3) calc / try out, how much protection you _need_ in order to survive one or two shots more.

4) Do not only think for M2, also think for M3 and M4.

5) then see if you find a paint that suits your needs.

 

 

In the wiki you find the hulls protections as well as the turrets damages (M3 and M3+ as well).

 

Thunder protection is common on long range maps, as many tanks run Emerald or Prodigy.

You need to log into the game once per day. Every day there is a chance that you will get the card the first time that you log in, but it is random. So keep checking in until you get it!

Maybe this week's V-LOG will tell us more! I would be fine with starting out at Recruit but having a fat wallet. However, they did say recently that they will continue supporting TO, so there might not be any compensation at all for TX :(

No Twins M1 is way better. I have a WO5 alt with both and Vulcan isn't bad, but Twins is just better. Although if you like Vulcan, you could get it. It really comes down to whether you prefer short range or long range

Also keep in mind that Vulcan M2 unlocks early (2nd Lt). And based on my observation, M2 Vulcan doesn't really last past (maybe, ) Major General, while other M2s are good for low M3 ranks (Fire, Twins, Smoky). But anyways, that's the way it works, with lower ranked M2s not lasting long. Anyways, my point is that either get M2 Vulcan straight away (Without buying M1), or get M1 Twins and use it into the Lieutenant ranks (Cause M1 Twins is strong). I suggest you keep using your current combo and save for Vulcan M2. You can also get Twins M2 later on to replace Vulcan, since Twins M2 is strong as well.

It can be a good replacement if you will play larger maps and can get a good firebird paint like storm. If you will always play small maps twins is better.
