What are the best low tier paints to buy against mosts M2s on the maps Sandbox, Polygon, Hill, Arena, Noise, Serphuhov, and Island? I use Hornet and Thunder, and I also use Viking and Ricochet mostly.

BEST PAINTS (good deals that are effective)

Storm, absolute steal. 9K cry, and you can hold off Firebirds longer

 

If you use Thunder, Thunder paint is a must. I recommend Cedar. Roger is also good too - M1 Twins is super OP. But these two are somewhat pricey.

Tundra is great. As explained in a v-log (that I won't find cause I'm lazy) with a few cheap MU, it can be as good as or better than Digital

 

Corrosion is also great, especially for a Thunder user. Decent protection against 2 really common M2 turrets

U can buy it for 99,900 crystals :) I wouldn't reccomend to many MU's till m3.

Raccoons many small protections do work best whit DA, so it is a good drug war paint. It is the only conciderable paint that gives rail and isida protection/vulcan and isida protection. And in drugwars isida protection is essencial, as there is bound to be atleast 1 on enemy team, and isidas are generally more powerful on drugs. It really is 1 of the musthave drugwar paints for offender/midfielder. And i would argue it's useful for any kind of battle with powerful teams, as it is the only thing you can pull out if the enemy has rail, or vulcan on a smaller map.

 

But i think it also works on normal battles, 4 protection paints are really useful with heavy/medium hulls. And vulcan protection is something 1 needs in many cituations, since vulcan is a multifunctional turret as is railgun. I'll get this paint with Nomad asap, unless they keep pushing it out only 35% off, and i don't get any discounts on top of that. However this is just analysation, since i have only used it on test, and seen footage of other people using it. btw grats for rankup

I need advise on Atlas Kit (Titan M2, Smoky M2, Loam).

I have the rank and the crystals for it.. and it runs out in 4 days.

(I will get Mosquito in a week, but this is another story)

 

 

My playing style

 

 

is mainly BP (agile defense, sniping, flagrunning, flag intercepting).

I used my M1 Titan (rail sniper, fire defense) for only 11 hours to relax a little from the fast paced bp game play.

 

 

 

My target scenario for the kit:

 

 

- to compete on those Polygon CPs and Arena CPs...

- to relax from BP as a base line defense with Titan/Rail or Titan/Fire (but my titan M2 has aaaallready 250hp and my Storm has 25% Fire protection..)

 

 

 

My doubts:

 

 

- Actually I hardly play any polygon CPs any more, since they changed the gamemode (as druggers come in late and hijack the battles).

- Only pro-battles would make me play them.. but I don't know if they are common in the next 2 ranks I'll have.

- I fear that I will bore myself to death. I've used my Titan for only 11 hours -.-  The kit is too expensive if I don't use it.

- Smoky M2 would also suit my Wasp.. but it is maybe more stressing out then Wasp/Rail.

 

 

 

Plan:

- I'm now thinking of skipping Smoky and Titan M2, and set the crystals aside for the Guardian Kit (Titan M3, Smoky M3, Nano).

But this is in.. hmm.. 6 months? xD

 

 

Question:

- have I missed some aspects?

- Is there any thing else that can be done with a Atlas kit, that makes it a usefull purchase for me?

OMG why do you have any doubts about Smoky M2!?!?!?!? Smoky is SUPER OP right now, you would be crazy not to get it. Just look at my profile. Smoky M2 is crazy good, especially when going up against M1 equipment. It will also be reasonably useful in the M3 ranks before Smoky M3 unlocks, it is just so good.

 

Not to mention that you also need a good mid-range/short-range turret. While other turrets are better for short range, Smoky excels at supporting at the mid-range. You also have a light hull, so you can speed around or sit and tank on top of the flag with a friendly Isida behind you.

 

The only thing that sucks about Atlas for you is that you already have Storm, so you are getting a 15% increase in Firebird protection. However, all of the protections of Loam are incredibly useful in Polygon CP's (Firebird, Thunder, Ricochet, Freeze).

 

Still highly recommend :) :) :)

I don't agree. It moves fast enough already and if you need it faster, just turn your hull as well. Reload is key though.

Impact force can also be great to have for knocking off enemies or even flipping them.

Railgun. Then if you can't afford a Hull you can always get a paint and play XP with Hornet M2

BP is alot better and more fun. There are still plenty of battles that they can join.

You have Hornet M2, so you can always go back to that if you really want to

Try Isida wasp. You can go slow and just heal your allies, and go for flags too if you want. (Meant for large maps, also u need good looking no range paint)
