You have a firebird, but you don't use it very often. Why get it M2.. if it does not fit your playing style?

Always consider, that most young players recommend you waht they like, not what suits you.

 

I would suggest you to stick with your Rico M2 and save up for M3 (kits).

The M2 stage is not very long - but you can sink a lot of crystals into M2s that you will never use again once you have M3s.

And once you have M3s, you need a lot of crytals to get paints and upgrade your gear.

 

Take a look at the Redneck Kit, I think it will suit you well.

 

ps: Thunder M3 is said to be weak in comparism to other M3s... so if you like to have it plan decent microupgrades.

ps2: for golds a weapon with recoil is pretty usefull, as you can climb on other tanks. I have taken more golds with my rail then with my Firebirds.

Redneck Kit does not unlock until Marshal, and Thunder M3 is OP. Only turret that can lack is Shaft.

Twins M2 is strong, but you already have Thunder M3, Smoky M2, and Fire M2. Although I'm going to guess you're a buyer? you can get Twins M2, but I think it's not entirely necessary as you already have a very strong garage and a M3 turret. Either save for kits, MU Thunder, or save for Vik M3.

 

 

I only bought for my b-day and Christmas, and I don't have any intentions on buying again (for a long time). But anyways thanks for your input.

Firewall for large maps, even works for tiny maps, but bulldozer is better for med.

Is that even fair to compare an M2 kit to an M3 kit?

 

Anyways, Firewall if you want to be maneuverable and if you like playing dirty. Bulldozer if you enjoy sitting back shooting at anything that moves. However you aren't as maneuverable as you are with Firewall.

If you liked Vulcan M0, get Vulcan M1. It's a huge improvement.

 

Vulcan m1 is much stronger then stock isida m1 especially if you have skill with Vulcan plus you get to be the nightmare that everyone hates to be the drugging mammoth+Vulcan+storm horror of any medium to large map

Isida or Hornet M2 / Hornet would be pretty useful in my XP/BP battles

M3 players often regret to have spent too much for M2s. Sounds you are about to make the same thing.
Two turrets should be good enough to get you through M2 and into M3.. and save in the meanwhile as much as you can. You will need it.

As you really love your Wasp/Fire combo and start to get interrested in XP/BP battles
=> I think you should really stay away from buying a Hornet, as you need the crystals at another point
=> Stay with your Wasp as main hull, become a pro driver and get it towards M2 soon

 

main reasons

 

 

• A wasp M2 will dramatically increase your Wasp/Fire performance, a Hornet won't
• It makes not very much sense to own/use a Hornet and a Wasp side by side -> If you completely focus on one main Hulls you will become a real pro at one; instead of "just good" with two. And ony Pro-Wasp pilots can make full use of their hulls advantages (the faster it becomes, the more precise you have to use it. Some where around M3 it does not forgive driving mistakes any more).
• A wasp M2 is allowed to enter XP/BP battles with cheap Forrester paint (while an M2 Hornet needs 20% rail = Fracture paint, which become useless when you rank higher)

 

 

 

So - as far as I know you from battles and forum - an optimal gear for you could be:
mainly - Wasp M2
           - Fire M2 (depends on the upgrades you made to your M1)
secondary - Isida M2
                - Rail M2
 
If you are in line with this proposal, you will also see that there is no room (crystal wise) for a Hornet.
You maybe already have to decide if Isida / or rail, as you've spend a lot on microupgrades for your firebird.

Whatever turret you take, your Hull should become M2 very soon. There are two kits that provide an Wasp M2 - and lucky to you, both come with turrets you can make use of:

 

 

• Mosquito-Kit (, 60k xp to go, 197k cr, Hulls: Wasp M2, Turrets: Railgun M2, Paints: Savanna)
• Ant-Kit (, 200k xp to go, 227k cr, Hulls: Wasp M2, Turrets: Isida M3, Paints: Irbis)

So either get Mosquito kit and:
- have full and early access to XP/BP
- use Wasp M2 to improove your Fire/Isida combos
- save up for Fire M2
- save up for Isida M3 (! yes, M3!) at rank
 
Or via Ant kit
- save up for Fire M2 (maybe you get it even before the kit)

- purchase additionally a Rail M2 (, 20k xp to go, 96k cr) - but get it after the kit

 

I personally would go for Mosquito. Playing XP/BP makes a better players out of you, as you learn a lot about tactics and patience in those battles.

Get your calculator and make some estimations.. you know how much xp you gain per week and how much crystals you gain per week. But make a plan.. else you'll soon find yourself in a high rank with low gear.
