Even though I may not be high enough rank to give you an accurate description, I think Fire M2 is a better choice. Just look at the stats and you'll find out.

 

Stinger is better for players that like teamwork, and Isida can be good for a wider range of battles (I don't think anyone would reject an Isida), so even if you can't find players to destroy you can still heal.

 

I would say Fire M2 is more fun.

You already have Fire M1, so go for a hull. I recommend Hornet M1. I don't really recommend Shaft M1 because it's not reliable (e.g. use it as a secondary turret). But later on, you could go for turrets like Thunder and Twins, the most OP M1s

Wasp M1 unlocks soon and is great value. It also goes great with Firebird

Shaft M1 is ok, but I would say try and get M1 viking at Warrant Officer 1 when you unlock it. At that rank Fire-Viking is OP, and you'll have the ability to play competitively higher ranks

Shaft m1 is awesome (if you can find battles that aren't infested with firebirds) very powerful and it will make you a nightmare to the enemy team if you have skill with it . I bought it myself not very long ago and its amazing iif you have skill cause with double damage it can 1 shot m1 mammoth and m2 hornet !

Smoky M2, M3s can wait, IF you get time and crystals before Col. get a heavy hull M2 as well.

For the 1 rank difference, I would recommend getting Isida. 

 

If you can get Smoky earlier (in a kit or something) definitly do though

I would save for Medic kit, if you can make it.

Viking M3 is quite fast (not as slow as M2) and you have a very, very early access to it via medic kit.

 

Medic kit can carry you until you get Smoky M3 by another kit (also earlier).

Well, don't spend crystals on drugs and plan well ahead.

You are right about the crystals, but there is also another thing: time.

Having two accounts may sound good by means of crystals, but it is not so funny if you calculate the time it needs.

We talk about 1400 Hours of gameplay, until you reach generalissimo. do you really want to double that amount of time?

Firefly is way more active gameplay, also Wasp M1 eliminates the need for Hornet M1 ( = saves you crystals).

Forrester paint (+1 MU to 11%) is highly recommended.

 

Titan/Smoky is more a defensive, passive gameplay.

All you need is a M1 turret and you will be fine. Even Firebird or Smoky will help you out alot

In that case, go for M2 Isida. It will earn you a lot of Crystals and XP to get you back on track :)

playing with Gizmos at Major will further enhance your crystal crisis

either go for XP M2 so that you can just play format battles

or focus on getting a tougher and more formidable M2 pair so you can go along with it till M3

I was saved from this dilemma because I started saving at WO5 and won a lot of contests

Grinding for crystals isn't my thing either but you gotta do it if you want to stay relevant in the future, and have a "relaxing" gameplay ahead, instead of doing the former in the later ranks; which is very, tiresome, as I've heard

68k for isida. I recommend you not to join a generalissimo battle with m2 as you are dealing with m4s.

Your only shot of playing with gismos is in Poly CP XP/BP. But other than that, if you play with M4 gismos, that's basically sabotage. Stick with battles of your rank
