thunder if ur gonna drug but twins is good for short maps but thunder is good for medium maps too. twins cant shoot through tanks. so i say thunder

thunder m1 is a really good improvement from m0 but m1 rail is a good improvement from rail M0 it really just depends on which one you like better

I used Rail m1 on this account and my alt @SniperCats during the Warrant Officer ranks and early m2 ranks and it was amazing. Definitely worth it, even if you are not that good with rail

Ok, so my alt is a sergeant. I'm looking at getting the 30k + 15k crystal set for $20 - except I'm waiting for a double crystal card. Is it worth my time to get the firefly kit (firebird M1+ wasp M1 + carbon). I've heard this is a ton of fun because it dominates the field at an early rank. Should I do that or wait a couple ranks to get something like Piranha (shaft m1 + hornet m1 + corrosion) or fighter (hornet M1 + twins M1). The kit with Rico M1 Viking M1 and chain mail also looks tempting. I am somewhat of an offensive player, but I do sit in my castle of a titan smoky from time to time.

Firefly is incredibly fun. It is definitly worth the crystals and will earn you a lot. 

The other options you are considering are not as fun to use, like the Piranha kit. Shaft gets very annoying with the laser. 

 

You should be able to earn enough to get the Rico Viking Kit

I love Hornet, but enjoy Titan too. I like Smoky more than my profile indicates, it is my favorite weapon. It just isn't that good at M0, and is short-lived at M1. I prefer Ricochet to Railgun, but I'm slightly more fond of my Railgun than my Isida. I have about 30k right now, and I can probably get 150k by captain.

Redneck comes with a paint, my favorite turret, and a fast medium hul. Cardinal comes with M3 Twins, Titan, and Picasso. I plan on buying one of those two kits from this rank as M3 Viking serves me no purpose in the game. If I buy M3 Isida during a sale for a cheaper price, I will have it with M2 Dictator. From there, I would wait to buy the kit.

Well try getting both. :P

I'd recommend having only three of each M1, three turrets and three hulls, that you can use to carry your through the ranks.

Any particular reason? Format battles look fun, but XP just isn't as effective in normal battles as other combos. Normal battles are my main concern.

 

 

Will Isida M2 last me all the way to captain?

Ok so I have a situation, my main gun is thunder m3 (17/50) and I can get it up to 38/50 during micro upgrade sales or even further if I put in some work. I'm also looking long term to get paladin kit and hornet m3. Getting thunder close to m4 at my rank would be insanely powerful, but I would lose all of my crystals. I also may not be able to get paladin kit if I do this. What is your advise on what to do + how powerful is thunder at around 40/50 micro upgrades? thanks in advance for responses. 

41/50 here.. definitely do it, you're a Brigadier, and having that kind of Thunder at your rank is an absolute killer. If you use Double Daamage in a Poly CP Under Brigadier, you will rape DESTORYY the entire enemy. Viking M1, Hornet M2, no MUed Hornet M3, all one shot. 

 

Seriously, I highly recommend it, especially for Poly CP/DM.  YOu have emerald too, so that'll be good. Even Double damage Thunder M4 vs a Titan M3 with Emerald is strong, takes more shots but still deadly.
