Probably. Some longer lasting options might include 'Fighter' Kit + Viking, or maybe 'Osaka' Kit. 'Stinger' Kit will easily last you until first lieutenant/captain.

im not sure about rico, but pitbull has been very effective up till the luitenant and captain ranks, but probably not marshal. If you MU is, it can get very good, as hornet m1/m2(with MUs) can last for a long time.

Huh? Pitbull has Hunter not Hornet.

In my opinion smoky isn't good in Poly CP. Smoky m2 does well against m1s and low m2s( in Poly CP), but when the battle is filled with m2 fire and twins, m3 thunder and isida, smoky can't compete. It doesn't have constant fire like twins or rico nor can it hit more than one tank at once. 

 

Titan m2 and loam, however, are excellent in poly cp. Atlas could be an option if you plan on getting another turret like twins.

get the Pitbull kit. It has M2 Hammer and Hunter and is a great choice

Personally, I would go with fire. It is easier to use and has better damage. Not many protection paints against it as well

im going to get firewall kit when i can, but i am saving a lot. i want to get it cos it lasts me to generalissimo, but i currently have a discount on hunter m1 to make it 18k. should i buy it now or carry on saving? i am currently on 30000 crystals

U talking about Hohloma in Poly CP with Fire/Hunter? I have this kit on my alt BorussiaDortmund_BVB but I usually use Storm more. The biggest problem I find with Hohloma is that its protections are kinda random (e.g. Inferno good for short range, Emerald for Poly CP, Picasso for long range, but Hohloma for... ???)

Northerner? Smoky/Vik is a good combo but the paint (Winter) is trash. No need for Shaft prot unless you strictly play Highways, Monte Carlo, etc.
