What to buy? Which is better?

Is shaft M1 good? Some people say no, other say yes. Can anyone respond? I am considering buying it, but not sure

Don't buy it, save for M2s. Shaft is more of a turret for "Oh I'm tired of playing with ___, I'm gonna use Shaft for a few battles just for fun". Trust me - do not get it.

Would it work if i just played with firebird m1 with Viking m1 till I can get m2 hunter?? I have 25k

Yes that works. But I have an even better idea - get Storm, and buy nothing else until Second Lieutenant. You can get Firewall then. I did this with my alt account - saved for Firewall starting from Warrant Officer 2 and was able to get Firewall at Second Lieutenant

What maps and strategies would you suggest??

Polygon and Noise work fine. As for strategies, your best use of Fire is to move stealthily, and then ambush your opponent when (s)he leasts expects it. Or if you play Polygon CP, go to the pit and camp in the tunnel; and when enemies come to the middle to cap, come out of the tunnel and burn 'em all!

I have 100k cry right now and I have been debating on which to get: M2 Rail or M2 Hornet. Right now I have M1 Rail and m0 hornet.

If I get M2 rail first, I would combo it with m1 viking, but I cant stand up to M2 and M1 rail If I use M0 hornet.

If I buy M2 hornet first, I would do less damage to the m2 and m1 people, but I would be able to do go faster and take more hits when doing my normal combo of fast and long range.

What should I get first?

Save up and buy Stinger/Tornado kit (Both of them have hornet m2, tornado has rail m2)

This. ^^^^

Although, I do find the Red side of Noise a bit easier to play for Firebird.

In Polygon CP, I usually stay around the edges and ambush from behind the buildings since the majority of tanks will be facing/heading towards the pit.

What turret should I MU? I've started with my Smoky, but perhaps I should invest in a different turret...

Focus on one turret, trust me it is much better.

Ok so I have 44/50 Thunder which you could say is basically M4 (I plan on M4'ing it soon). In Poly DM, it is an absolute killer - so easy to steal kills. Splash damage is amazing, and raw damage is very strong. Range doesn't seem to be a problem either - maybe on larger maps the range is a slight problem, but not in Poly. The only thing is, reload time is kinda iffy.

Your question of "If M4 Thunder worth getting" - not sure how to answer this. If you had enough crystals to completely M4 Thunder right now, it is, 10000% worth it. I cannot even imagine having M4 Thunder at your rank, 1-2 shotting everyone with DD. But I doubt you have the crystals for that, at least for now. In the long run, Thunder M4 may not be your best bet cause of some paints. For battles Commander and under, you see mostly Emeralds and Cherrys; in gismo battles, you see lots of Africa and some Clays, but less Emerald/Cherry. But in general though, you're already at a good spot - 17/50 at your rank. If you get it to 30/50 and use it until Marshal where you can pick up, say, Twins M3, you should be fine. Whether or not you want to M4 it after that is up to you. My recommendation is no (or at least until you get another M3 turret decently MUed), since 30/50 Thunder is already pretty good. I've also heard from someone that even a 22/50 Smoky is better than a M4 Thunder

No need to MU loam, it has enough Fire protection

Should I save up for Paladin and MU Smoky, micro upgrade my Dictator M2 to 10/50, micro upgrade my Thunder and save up for Cardinal, or save up for M3 Isida and then save up for Cardinal?

Micro Upgrades BTW:

Don't MU anything that isn't M3. You can MU Thunder if you wish, but other than that, just save for kits. Cardinal, Paladin, anything you want.

As for M3 Isida - I don't really recommend for you, since you already have Thunder M3 (Thunder and Isida are "low tier" M3; not weak but entry level M3s that need MUs)

Yes, but the first 16 steps on everything is at a discount above the minimum 20%. I have 10 steps on Smoky and TItan, so I'll at least MU 6/7 more steps. Should I continue MUing for 20%, or spend on something else?

Things I'm also looking to MU:

- Rail

- Wasp

- Taiga

I have decided to stop MUing my Hunter (currently at 8 steps), becuase I'll get Viking XT from a mission, and I'm a tanki fashionista.

Do you have the Russian purple paint? Goes nice with XT gold.
