What to buy? Which is better?

Hey guys should I buy paint for the future or micro-upgrade to m4. I would like to micro-upgrade my thunder m3 and I am at 35/50. My best paints are cherry and loam. I would also like to m4 my viking which is also at 32/50 mues and twins and titans which are all low mues. I like to play polygon, island cp and silence, hill, noise and island ctf

You want to M4 your Thunder? Don't expect too much out of it.. If you want, get it to 40/50 but mine is  45/50.. in Poly DM it actually is not too bad but in general, while it is strong, I think it is better to put your MUs in another turret like Fire or Twins

anyways should I buy hunter m2 on hull sale or w wait for viking m2 in the future.

Hmm. Viking M2 is definitely the better hull, especially for Noise. But for Rio, I guess Hunter is better than Viking M2, especially if you're using short range. If you're going to be using Rico the entire time, I guess you might as well get Hunter, cause Vik M1 won't last you till

Yes that is a good option. Although Idk if Storm will last you to so you may want to pick up a paint if you can.

 

Also - Hunter M2's health is kinda iffy. If you like moving around a lot with Rico in Rio, Hunter will be good. Maneuverability is very good and speed is not bad. But don't expect Hunter M2 to hold up long in Poly CP. The 30ish health points between Hunter and Viking M2 does make a difference - on my alt, I have Hunter and Dict M2 (which has about the same health as Vik M2) and there definitely is a noticeable advantage with Dictator's health.

crystals come like wind for me, I made 70k from beginning of to now. I would get dictator m2 , but the shape is really disgusting I hate it. I could the hunthunter2 a few to make up for the lesser hp to its medium hull counterparts, what do u suggest?

Loam is good. Don't get Rustle cause 1) Freeze is dead and 2) Rustle is quickly replaced by Cherry and Emerald.

Did you mean to say "I could MU Hunter M2 a few"? If so - don't MU Hunter M2. Dictator M2 is the only M2 hull worthy of micro upgrading. But Dictator M2 is slow. If you MU it, it becomes a lot better. But Vik M2 is still (in general) better than Dict M2.

 

In the long run, Vik M2 will be better, especially if you plan on getting Redneck (coz of Vik M2's health). I think Vik M1 will last you to ; it's just that Hunter M2's health won't last you up to . Go for Vik M2

M2 Dictator is quite good, but statistically speaking M2 Viking is almost completely superior to it. If you're fine with waiting until Lieutenant Colonel or buying a kit, M2 Viking should serve you well until M3 Viking unlocks at Lt. General.

 

M2 Hunter is also a solid hull, but seeing as you basically use Viking all the time, you may have to adjust to a different playstyle- while it's superior to your M1 Viking, its only advantage over the other medium hulls is its speed. If you prefer to take your time and don't rush your enemies very often, M2 Viking would be a better fit. Micro-upgrading Hunter's health a bit would be helpful if you have crystals to spare, but fundamentally it's less stable and handles differently.

 

You mostly use Electra paint, which is pretty but only protects you significantly from Isida- you're vulnerable to just about everything else. Loam is great since it gives you significant protection against M2 Firebird, which is a very devastating turret, but the other protections aren't that handy. Rustle is more versatile- it protects you against Thunder (popular around your rank, especially towards the M3 ranks) and Freeze (which is a common M2 and M3). With paints, you should just pick whatever protects you against the turrets that bother you the most. Other recommendations I would have include Sandstone (versatile and especially useful if micro-upgraded) and Hohloma (protects you against M2 Smokies and is reasonably versatile).

I am only a rank and a chunk away from it,,and my viking was made to be mUed quite a bit (pre MU changes) and its rarely given me doubts so I guess I could hang onto it for that rank + chunk more

all gr8 points I've been using viking since it unlocked at m0 so readjustment may take a long time. I may be able to save for Vesuvius kit a sale but vulcan probably the paint would catch dust.

 

As for the paints , electra is pretty :D. Anyways I bought it because isidas were a big problem for me. having such an early unlock rank they were everywhere. Holhoma would be a solid choice for me, the rico protection could save me from self destruction & from other ricos and smoky prot is very useful in the fact it's arguably the best m2. And then there's freeze prot... I will be previewing soon ;)

Thunder M3 stock, I've heard is the worst M3. But going by your garage statistics, you have a lot of hours under mainly two turrets, Thunder and Twins, and you have used a lot of supplies, which is really useful for Thunder. So I'd say go for M3 Thunder. MUing it fully will cost you 765750 crystals but I've heard 40-45/50 has pretty much the same effect so it will cost around 650000 - 700000 crystals.
