Loam and Winter are of the same price, except Winter is useless as you've said.

also, Atlas is cheaper because Titan M2 is cheaper than Viking M2, but is definitely the better hull to go with Smoky M2.

Smoky M1 will be good up to around but after that, you'll need a replacement. I guess you could get Keeper, good combo for Poly CP. But you might want Viking M1 for more variability, since Titan M1 can be slow at times. Although it's speed should be fine for Poly CP/DM.

About Smoky M1; I just want to mention that when I was around  to I remember playing a battle in Atra (DM) and being able to finish first by a few kills with it. I only had a few MUs on it. How well it works would depend on the map/mode; the higher your rank, the more limitations might be created (it wouldn't do as well in Poly, for example), but even so, you can stretch the time you use it quite a bit if you play on suitable maps.

freeze would loose effectiveness after WO3.Why? Because freeze m2 unlocks at .and Siberian kit is common in the WO ranks.Not worth buying AT ALL.

Well,rico, with some skills, i still win matches with ranks till .I would say rico is effective till,around .About usabitlity,i still use rico and plan to use rico till ,whn ill get an m2 kit.

 

Overall,rico is the better buy,but there are better M1s out there

I agree considerably with @9.nine.. I used Freeze M1 till WO4 but it wasn't the best. I'd say it lasts till like WO2. Rico M1 is great on Rio, Noise, etc till but isn't the best M1 at all. Good range upgrade from M0.

Rail M3, but you will have To Micro-upgrade it so you can kill Vikings with one DD shot. most of the Vikings are MUed

Buy a cheap m2 for now during the sales, like isida m2 or freeze m2.

Trust me, its worth it, on my other account at your rank I had Twins M1 and Hornet m1 thats it .-. at 2nd with 20k crystals but when I was halfway captain I had 160k. I earned 140k in 2 ranks.

I agree with this, although I think Rico m1 is stronger than Smoky m1. But it's up to you to decide if you want to be slow and strong or a bit more versatile.

The reason that boar disappeared from your garage is because you exceeded the individual unlock rank for each item in the kit. I see that you have a rather limited garage, with your only m2s being what comes with tornado kit. If you want to get a more diverse garage, then get vesuvius or a better m2 kit like atlas. However, if you are a hardcore xp/bp fan and you need a paint with 20% rail protections, then just buy fracture, its twice as cheap as sandstone.

you will have plenty of time before you reach brigadier. Buy another m2 kit. After that I would say save for an m2/m3 kit like bulldozer or ant. Then start saving for M3. Trust me. Its a long journey. Thoe it only took like 3 weeks to go from third lieutenant to captain, it seemed like forever.

 

Also, buy the next kit during TO bday

Thanks reason I wanted to know was because I plan to buy jackhammer kit once I reach brigadier. I did buy boar kit yesterday during sales. Rico m2 is not as powerful as I thought it would be but its still a good kit overall. Probably Firewall would have been better choice in long run. Though i do like rico as a mid range weapon, so much more effective in larger maps. I plan to also buy either m2 hunter or m2 firebird before i reach brigadier as well

Rico is my main turret. Tanki changed it twice while I had it M2. First they made the projectile speed a lot faster. Then they realized how OP Rico became and reduced the damage slightly. I miss the old Rico, but some MUs got me back to where I was. Now at M3 Rico is a struggle in DMs - it's just not a drug war turret.

is correct here - stock Thunder M3 is indeed one of the weakest. I've used 41/50 for a while; right now I have 45/50, and I haven't really felt any difference between the two. I plan on M4ing it very soon, when there's a MU sale, so maybe then I can tell you what it's like.

 

I would skip those and either get a strong M3 or MU your gear

 

That's Hammer/Hornet M1 right? Fighter is much, much better. Get Fighter and Viking/Titan M1 and save for a M2 kit, like Minotaur.

 

I think it's 30%. And Storm is totally worth it, useful to have against Fire M1

 

Don't get Wasp M1, go for Hornet M1 instead (if you wish to use light hulls mainly). You won't have to worry about Rail protection that way.

 

Your other option is to get Wasp M1 and Forester, and then save for a good M1 hull like Hunter M1.

 

Rico M1 and Smoky M1 aren't that impressive. Get Fighter and Vik (or Titan) M1 and save for Firewall.

 

Get Medic and save immediately for a M3 kit like Prometheus.

 

And you can put rank icons in the forum by using [ rank=<INSERT RANK NUMBER HERE>]. The numbers 1-30 correspond to a rank, e.g. 1 is recruit and 30 is gismo

Ya got options - but I say buy Minotaur, then pick up Loam paint on sale or just buy the inexpensive Storm.

 

I did this on my braxton_walker alt and I just rule most battles. Those pesky firebirds can't touch me.
