Hornet is fine, but I honestly think Viking will be best on all those maps except Monte Carlo. 

 

Viking is still great with freeze

I agree, viking is awesome with freeze, I've used it myself for quite some time. And I still have the biggest exp/hour ratio with freeze in comparison with the other (m3 and m2) turrets that I've used. One thing, try to join lower ranked battles, because if you join generalissimo battles you will find lots of players using zeus or inferno.

Guys, what's the best kit. I mean like price/gun, price/paint etc. I play Rio, Noise, that kind of stuff. I use mostly Isida m2 and Firebird. Any ideas? I have about 95K right now growing fast. Could you help?

If you like Isida try Ant kit. M3 isida/ M2 wasp/ Irbis.

How much will i have to mu smoky to be reasonably good against m2s?

Since,the rank difference between smoky m1 and m2 is HUGE,i assume that each mu step must be a significant inprovement.

 

So,i was thinking of maybe skipping all the m2 kits,instead

.Buy Dictator m2 [<3 dictator]

.MU smoky to 30/50 [yep,m1]

.Get paladin

 

Not 100% sure of going ahead with this,just an idea.

Also,in between,i plan on getting fire m2,muing dictator to match viking m3,and maybe completely muing smoky

 

What do u guys think?Good?Terrible?Hy6?Risky?

Minotaur is just plain boring[for me].

Also i want to buy dictator,and its worth muing.

I will need a turret/hull to last till colonel to get m2 smoky,and as far as i see,its not worth it,not much cry for everything.If muing smoky to about 25 or 30 steps is enough to compete with m2s,then maybe ill buy fire,then move on.After that ,ill get paladin

 

To answer ur question,i feel alts are a great.Helps to take a break frm the intensive battes of ur main acc.Other than that,its ur choice whether u want to focus on main or alt

MU'ing an M1 is not worth it. Either buy an M2 turret, or just play with M1 until you can buy an M3 turret.(which is possible) Don't MU anything more than a few steps until you can MU M3s.

Dictator is a good choice, it's very good for gold hunting, and although viking's stats are better at M2, I think dictator will suit you well.

And FC, I do know that flipping tanks with Hammer is fun - remember I used Hammer from Brigadier to Marshal. I also know that flipping tanks gives you 0 XP and 0 crystals.

Terrible..;p Micro upgrading anything before m3 is a waste of crystals. It's better to use your crystals for a kit or the next modification of an item.

The part about getting Paladin on the other hand is a great idea.

Keep playing with this account, it's not bad. This shouldn't stop you from playing on your alt account every now and then though. It enables you to try different combos on both accounts, which will make playing more fun and more interesting.

If you don't like Viking, go for Hornet. Viking won't go anywhere, so you can always decide to buy it later on. As for your question about Cedar: I advice you not to buy it. You've reached a rank where the better paints are starting to become available. It might seem like a big investment to save up for an expensive paint, but it will be worth it in the long run.

Ok. So my alt BorussiaDortmund_BVB currently has 171k. Based off of my predictions, I could possibly rank to Brigadier with 700k. This means I could do one of the following:

• Buy Medic (404k leftover) and maybe MU Isida/Viking a little bit (~ 15/50), then save the rest for Prometheus (and MU Fire M3)
• Buy Medic and MU Isida to 37/50. Save for Prometheus after
• Buy Jackhammer and MU Hammer to 32/50
• Buy Medic and Jackhammer (40k leftover) and save immediately for Prometheus (Eyja maybe)

All the above is excluding sales (so, buying full price). Also, 700k at Brigadier is only assuming I log on only to complete missions (which is what I do currently; in the summer I can definitely play more). More realistically though, I will be reaching Brigadier with 500k
 
Also, please do not suggest any other kits, especially anything with Smoky, Thunder, Twins.

I would have said the opposite. Viking served me well through low and mid ranks. Slow? Just use your massive store of speed boosts. Viking M3 at high ranks is everywhere although you need to MU and use shields to survive against the equally ubiquitous Titans.

Viking is a great hull and I like it, but at M1 it's kinda underpowered. Also, using M1's at Major General is generally not a  good idea.

I like your option 1 - Medic and MU both Isida and Viking a lot.

 

I would not recommend buying Medic then Jackhammer since you will pay twice for the same Viking M3.
