Yea railguns cam be found in 95% battles nowadays. Prodigi is a good deal.

For mistalee I would say Jackhammer as it will last fairly longer than thunder with comparatively less amount of MU needed.

But Medic since Isida is one of the most OP turret in game self-healing rox

I would say that Medic is better.

 

1. Cherry is a better paint than Tiger.

2. Medic is 70k crystals cheaper than Jackhammer. (290k, 363k)

3. Getting points from healing teammates. Your teammates will be very grateful to you.

 

I bought Jackhammer on this account when I was Brigadier, and Medic on my alt yesterday. Trust me, Medic is gonna last longer than Jackhammer.

 

Just to show how OP this kit is on drugs. I did not have Premium yesterday.

Smoky, Twins and Fire are considered the top three M2s. Smoky is the most versatile; doing well everywhere, yet Fire and Twins are limited to medium-small maps. It all depends on your style; which turret suits you and your hulls best? One last thing. Have you thought about Atlas? That could be considered better than Northerner in smaller maps. Up to you.

 

One second last thing. If you decide upon Ant, definitely don't MU your Hornet. Ant probably isn't very wise, considering the Hornet. If you want Isida, go for Medic.

I m not going for Atlas bcoz it contains titan and northerner contains viking and Viking will pair better than titan with my isida m2.

I would like medic but I like paladin more so if I bought medic I would already have viking m3 making me skip paladin.

If u like fire,then go for it.I suggest u buy firewall,u should have enough crystals by 1st lieutenant.Dont buy fire separately.

Muing hornet is ur choice.Muing anything less then m3 more than 10 or 20 steps aint worth it

Maybe buy ant after that.IMO,u would still have enough crystals by the time legend/paladin unlocks

Hmm I have finalized to buy northerner bcoz I would already have a close range turret (isida)

And buying both isida and fire m2 would b not logical.

On the other hand northerner have smoky...good at any range.

And if I m not going to get fire separately I would not MU my hornet.

Looks like we are on the same track mate, I have 83k crystals now and I also bought stinger when I ranked to WO5. Stinger is great in one and half a rank I have earned 85k crystals, relatively quick as well.I am saving for Minotaur kit because twins is very OP as I have played with twins M1 and Viking is versatile and has decent speed. Also Viking is pretty good with isida. :)

I wouldn't save for Paladin or Medic for now, because you are really going to struggle after major, buy a M2 kit with Viking if you want.

After some consideration, I recently bought the Vulcan M1. I noticed that I can buy the Vulcan M2 at Second Lieutenant. 

It costs ~80,000. 

Should I micro-upgrade it all the way, or just buy it when I rank up? Micro-upgrading will cost me ~80,000 more, though.

I know that one benefit of micro-upgrading is that your Vulcan keeps on improving, so that it can still work well when you rank up higher.

 

So, should i micro-upgrade it all the way, or just buy the M2 when I'm at Second Lieutenant?

The benefits of buying an m2 is that you have a higher chance of destroying your enemy, though buying an m(?) can be very costly. My Twins has 19 micro upgrades and it acts very much like an M1. 

 

The choice is yours, but I would suggest Micro upgrading it unless your in a hurry.

You can add the price of MUs from here http://en.tankiwiki.com/Micro-upgrades_Hornet#Micro-upgrades_Hornet_.D0.9C3 (scroll a bit up to find M1 MUs ;) ) and add all of them together. It depends, do you want to speed some upgrades up or are you willing to wait till they finish? Will you upgrade all of them now or in June where there might be a MU sale? Will you buy hornet M2 during the sale?

 

Many things which we don't know yet, hard to do a lucky guess :/

Imma buy M2 Hornet then in the upcoming sales!!!

I hope we'll have a decent sale this time about 50 and more (which has more probability of happening)

Nah, keep saving. That 80k could go to good use buying a second M2 later, along with Vulcan. You (Fleety_awesome) need a hull, of course, and you'd already have one if you don't spend on MUs.

 

If you end up struggling, later, with stock Vulcan M1, you could always just spend some crystals buying Twins M1. That option is still 50k cheaper than MUing, and Twins is great.

Boar can last until,brigadier,as far as i kno.

To answer the second question,better get an op m2 kit than spend on boar.Twins can last until captain.

But currently there is no kit that has M2hornet with Hull other than railgun!

I mean my Rail M1 is already 50/50 Mued so I'll get it for free if I rank up (Which is happening soon).

I already have railgun and thunder, but emerald and prodigi are pretty popular paints, so i cant really do much. I typically play on maps like rio, monte carlo, noise and serpuhov. What do u guys suggest i get? (This is m3 lvl, btw).

If you have Dictator, don't waste your crys on Viking kit - go for Atlas. Better paint and you can use that Titan on Polygon CP

The paint you should go is: Either Tundra or Corrosion

I play a lot against Railguns so I Opted for Tundra paint and with my experience it is wonderful! If you have M1hornet then it takes 3shots by M1railgun to kill it.(Which easily takes 2shots without any paint.) and a small but useful protection against smoky is useful too!

Rating: 8/10 (form my point of view)

I don't have corroson paint but it looks damn awesom on tank and it is truely made for Long maps. It has small protection against rail thunder and shaft. I guess if you play long maps then it is handy paint but the drawback is that enemies can easily identify you :/

Get ze smoky on sale. Not as many paints with smoky protection, and it's def. more powerful stock than hammer, and much better for the maps you mentioned, It doesn,t need to get close or handle the long reloadings that make hammer very vulneralble in maps like sepruhov or monte where the contact with the enemy is usually short and longranged, meaning bad times for a hammer that likes to face it's enemies on a short range preferably for like 5 to 10 seconds or on ramps.

Hammer paints are also everywere, tiger, nano, mars, africa, raccoon, rock; popular paints..It's just not the ideal gun for your needs :)
