Stinger is not that good. If you want to be a gold hunter, boar is just too good for your rank :D ANd if you'll MU is step by step, you can have dictator M3 maybe even before ranking up to Major. And dictator M3 is playable till Generalissimo :D

Full MU costs 2 times more than price of the upper modification. So you pay more to have it sooner. With few MU sales, it's possible to save about 1/4 - 1/3.

I don't know, if it's worth to fully MU dictator M2, but I know, it's awesome. Probably too expensive.

Stinger isn't that great after First Lieutenant, its too weak to compete against other M2 hulls, and doesn't have enough speed like Wasp. Boar is better by far, 3k XP per day, you can do it. :P

So... I've been thinking abt what to get. I have narrowed it down to: Smoky M3, Twins M3, and Hammer M3. I mostly use Viking M3 as my hull, and sometimes Hornet. I most of the time play in CTF battles (Noise and Rio being my favorites), and also often play Poly CP. Which one should I get?

FC here. Paint/protection wise, Smoky is smarter, since few paints protect against both Thunder and Smoky. With Thunder and Twins, you run into problems with Emerald/Cherry (non gismo battles and especially in non gismo Poly CP) and Africa (HUGE in gismo Poly CP and at gismo in general). But Twins is better on Noise and definitely in Poly CP than Smoky (Smoky M3 is not the greatest in Poly CP).

 

I omit Hammer cause you need MUs to make it effective. But between Smoky and Twins, probably Twins. Twins will definitely satisfy your needs more (good in Poly CP, Noise, Rio). But just be aware of paint problems. But you shouldn't be worried about Rock in non gismo Poly CP, so that's a good thing (you'll really only see it in gismo battles). Same with Graffiti (25%) - not that popular

Wasp is better for golds. Lighter, taller, faster, it would be my 3rd choice if I was a goldhunter. 1st: dictator,      2nd: Hunter      3rd: wasp

I doubt I can arcade-shoot my way through the WO ranks and wait for M2s to unlock. I was looking at two kits: Predator and Fighter. Would either of these carry me through the WO ranks until I can unlock a pure M2 kit? Or maybe someone could suggest a path for me?

I just ranked up, and I now I have a ton of crystals. Unfortunately Guardian is not available during the BDay sale, so I can't get it with the extra discount. That leaves me with two main options---which option is better (in your eyes) when it specifically comes down to earning crystals/experience points, taking gold boxes, getting high scores in DM, CTF, and CP, getting some nice D/L's, and best fitting with Isida M3 and Viking M3. By the way, should I MU my Thunder M3.5 to M4 at Generalissimo for the heck of it or not?

 

Option 1: Cardinal + Inferno (with extra discount), M3 Hornet, M3 Raillgun, M4 Isida, and M4 Viking

Option 2: Guardian (no extra discount), Wasp M3, M3+ Isida, Clay, M4 Smoky, and M4 Viking

Dont get shaft, it's useless.. For Rail you still need 2 ranks tho.. Freeze is kinda useless too, but in your rank it would be good.

I have loam but no M2/M3 Heavy Hull.

I would get Rico m3 first, Vulcan not good in all maps and mostly you have to use drugs with it.

 

Shud I buy M2 freeze which has a 35% Pers.Disc. Or wait for sale and buy Fracture/Hornet m2? (on @3x3cube )

Yeah it's not bad kit, I have it on my alt also. Would suggest you to get twins m1 in sales also, if you can.

Dictator is good for gold hunting lol. But wasp can also be good in some gold spots. I always try use wasp to take golds, it's more fun.

Yes trust me you wont regret it, first week within playing with stinger I earned 35, I only bought it a few weeks ago and I have 92k :)
