Options: Grab bulldozer imeaditly at liutent colonel (i want to use thunder its a lot of fun in my opinion and thunder m3 is still super strong at the rank on my account) meaning it can last me long until a better m3 kit

Next option: Grab Fire m2 and save for something along the lines of refrigarator or boreas maybe (i dont want to use hammer and isida on this account atm may change mind later)

Last option: Grab twins m2 on a PD then save for an m3 kit?

Also anyone suspect what holiday might have the next sale?

Get Hammer/Hornet/Freeze/rail Thunder is Not so OP after Major General or so. Hornet would be better. You have Fracture why not rail m2? But Hornet m0 :/ Buy Hornet m3 in my Opinion :).

Hmmmm.... is Voltage a good kit ? Id like to have Dictator for Golds (plus if i MU it a few times its better then M2 Viking ) and M2 Railgun is a priority to me right now (i already have 2/3rds of M2 XP and M2 railgun is something i want badly )

I have to decide between speed and armor. Currently my Titan M4 has a little problem to catch up with annoying M4 Vikings. They kept dodging my aim with speed boost, which means it's harder to land shots with my Smoky. This is an annoying problem with DM since I have to chase to land shots, but if I do, I will be hit by another tanker.

 

But Dictator would be a good mix right?

 

Actually paint depends: Smoky is highly annoying but so it's Vulcan...

Have you asked on the Dictator thread? I don't prowl there so I don't know how active it is, but you can get some hands on reviews of Dictator M3.

 

Chasing tanks is usually a bad idea - I think I ranted about that in some thread or another. As you pointed out you almost always end up narrowing your focus too much and get killed by someone sneaking up behind you. It also costs precious time.

 

Dictator is the slowest Medium hull, but not that much slower than Viking. For Polygon, it won't make a difference, but I hear you on Titan... Even in Poly it can be maddeningly slow. You can use speed boosts but that messes up your cool down cycle for your other drugs. Then there is MUs. Since Dictator is a late unlock M3, it does not improve nearly as much with the expensive MU to M4.

 

Which brings me back to Viking. Viking wins the MU contest for most improved between M3 and M4. Mine is M3.6, and I am extremely impressed with it's speed and armor. I also get exited when I can MU it since I get a full Armor point with each MU.

 

So back to your question, which was best hull for Rico in Poly DM, I still stand by Dictator. And remember to use Rico's bounce. Polygon has lots of nooks and crannies in which tanks like to hide. Rico is excellent for spoiling this.

 

But Viking is a close second choice.... It is a very versatile, inexpensive, and tough hull. Shines in Rio and a bunch of other maps where Dictator's size makes it a liability. Check the top 100 rankings page and see what hulls are in use. Last time I checked it was all about Viking and Hornet.

I dont know so much about m3/m4s, but I think my dictator m1/twins m1 is the best option for polygon cp and i can finish in the first 3 places in battles with higher levels than me without drugs.

It depends on the modification. Hunter m1 is very good for your level and combines the best characteristics from both viking m1 and dictator m1. But, in short range battles, dictator is better. Viking is cheap at m1 but not as good as hunter. At m2, viking is the best m2 hull. At m3, dictator has very much armor and its ideal for gold box hunting. Hunter is very fast and has the armor of a viking m3. It depends also on the gamestyle and the turret you choose.

I saw there was a new kit with mammoth and Vulcan m2, and it may replace the Vesuvius kit with Viking m2.

Should I get that kit? I do know that Mammoth m2 sucks when compared to Titan m2. I currently play with my Titan m1 with my Vulcan m1, and I like it a lot.

So, is the kit good?

Should I get that kit? I do know that Mammoth m2 sucks when compared to Titan m2. I currently play with my Titan m1 itch my Vulcan m1, and I like it a lot.

 

So, is the kit good?

M2 Mammoth is basically inferior to M2 Titan, but at the same time, it's not bad by any means. It's not as fast, sure, but it has essentially the same health and is a good deal cheaper. You don't use heavy hulls for the speed, so it should serve you quite well should you choose to get it.

 

However, you should take a look at the combination as a whole to decide whether or not to get it. Blacksmith is a nice paint both aesthetically and in terms of protections. Vulcan-Mammoth is essentially a static gun turret when used effectively- you set up in a camping spot, find targets, pop out a little, and light em' up. It's a fantastic defender (the Spring Showdown tournament had both teams using it for defense), great for fire support (very annoying on Polygon CPs), and can hold off many opponents on maps like Monte Carlo, but you will often struggle in close range or extreme ranges (where Shafts and Railguns can knock off chunks of your health) and the slow speed can be an issue.

 

Mammoth can be used well with other turrets in your garage (Shaft, Twins, even Ricochet, etc.), so it's versatile in that regard. Vulcan is less so, being best used with relatively healthy hulls (Viking and up, although Dictator is a better fit IMO). Blacksmith comes in handy for maps with Shafts, Railguns, and Vulcans, such as Monte Carlo, so it can be used in any battle where you're struggling against long range weapons.

 

Basically, if you like playing with heavy hulls, want to have a huge presence on the battlefield, are willing to drug, play on relatively open/large maps, and don't mind using a cheesy combination, Vulcan-Mammoth is a great combination. If you like to stay mobile, capture flags, fight at close/extreme range, and win with Skill™, you likely won't enjoy it as much.
